Shark bile could be the mantra for youthful skin!

Shark bile could be the next best thing to hit the beauty mart. Cashing in on Chinese folklore Professor Theo Macrides, head of the RMIT natural products group, has developed a product from shark bile, which he says could hold the key to many skin problems.

According to him, the product called 'Ketsugo' restores normal balance to oily skin and helps control acne.

The Herald Sun quoted Macrides as saying that he along with other researchers had discovered the compound after hearing tales about ancient Chinese women who smeared shark bile on their faces to keep them wrinkle-free.

According to preliminary research the compound switches off the excessive oil production activated by the body's hormones. Now a cosmetic giant is all set to launch the product in the market.
