Designer Coats for Winter 2015 - 2016

Designer Coats for Winter 2015 - 2016

With the winter chill ready to knock on your doors its time to check out the designer winter coats you will be seeing around this season.   Belted, oversize, printed, and cropped, here are our favorite coats straight from the runways.

Winter coats are looking seriously good this season. You will love cosying up in everything from pastel pink to statement checks, and with the temperature set to drop in the coming few weeks, there's never been a better excuse to update your coat collection.

New season styles to consider are the Parka (Zara), the belted midi (Joseph), and the ultra-fluffy (Topshop). Length-wise, anything goes. This year, we're leaning towards maxi coats, but a cool cropped style will look equally chic.

On the designer front, Gucci has your showstopper, Elizabeth & James have cleverly re-worked the shearling coat, while Stella McCartney has those sleek styles, perfect for your workwear wardrobe.

White is Back with a Bang
Impractical it may be, but the white coat stakes its claim to hero status this season, with a blizzard of choices blanketing the catwalks. Supremely feminine - the palette is delicate, the fabrics luxe, the silhouettes soft and sinuous. Even the details (waist-cinching belts, broad fluffy collars and brooch-like buttons) boast a ladylike charm.

Quilted Coats are Back in
Winter days take on a stylish new spin, with plumped-up silhouettes, cushiony furs and quilting. Think trapeze cuts, chic cocktail coats with princess sleeves, and supple duster coats, clasped with dressing down belts. Each one worthy of a starring role in this season's costume drama

Robe Style Coats

This year we are bound to see collarless robe style piece worn coats white tucked in high-waisted wide-leg trousers. Alexander Lewis has presented this year gorgeous pale blue cover-up to be worn over skirts and fuchsia colored outerwear. You are bound to love the vintage touch of these outfits.

Blue is in
How about a navy blue military inspired design belted at the waist with a black fur collar and golden buttons. If you are thinking about getting yourself new season wardrobe, then you better check this kind of style.

Wrapping up in the chilly weather is going to get more stylish in 2015.
