Ingredients

  • 3/16 pound steak tenderloin

  • 1/8 cup Soy Sauce low sodium

  • 1/4 Tablespoon Honey

  • 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

  • 1/8 teaspoon Cumin seed, ground

  • 1/8 teaspoon Turmeric ground

Directions

  • Soak 24 6-inch bamboo skewers in cold water 1 hour.

  • Cut beef into very thin 3-inch strips. Thread 1 or 2 strips on each prepared skewer and arrange in shallow dish.

  • In small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, cumin, and turmeric.

  • Pour over beef, turning to coat. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, prepare grill or preheat broiler. Arrange skewers on grill or broiler rack 2-inches from heat source. (Make sure that bare ends of skewers are not directly over or under flame.) Grill or broil 30 to 40 seconds per side for medium-rare.

  • Serve immediately.
