Ingredients

1-1/2 cups All purpose flour

9/16 cup cocoa, unsweetened powder

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda

1/4 teaspoon Salt

3/4 cup Buttermilk

3/8 cup Vegetable oil

1-1/2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and butter and flour a 9x2-inch round
cake pan.

Mix together the dry ingredients. Add the buttermilk, oil, and
vanilla. Mix.

Turn the batter into the pan, bake the cake in the middle of the oven
for 30 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean, and let it cool for
5 minutes before turning it out of the pan.
