Mukkabutta Garelu

 

 

 

Great corn vadas - if the corn is very tender and watery, mix with a little flour to bind
Serving: 4

Preparation Time:  30 minutes


Ingredients

  • 6 corn cobs,

  • 2 green chillies,

  • Chopped 1 bunch coriander leaves,

  • Finely chopped,

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds,

  • Salt to taste and

  Oil for deep frying

 

    Directions

  • REMOVE the corn from the cobs, and roughly grind it.

  • Mix the corn with the green chillies, coriander leaves and cumin.

  • Add salt to taste.

  • Heat the oil in a deep pan.

  • Make small balls of the corn mixture, flatten slightly and deep fry.

  • Serve hot.
