Stir-fried beans with prawns

Ingredients

  • 200 g string beans, cut into 3 cm pieces 

  • 100 g prawns, shelled and deveined 

  • 20 ml oyster sauce 

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 10 g garlic, sliced 

  • 5 g chillies, sliced lengthwise 

  • 1 tsp pepper powder 

  • 30 ml oil 

  • 20 ml chicken stock 

    Directions

  • Heat the oil in a pan, and saute the chillies and garlic. 

  • Add the oyster sauce, sugar and pepper powder and mix well. 

  • Add the beans and the prawns and stir  for two to three minutes. 

  • Pour in the chicken stock and cook for about five to seven minutes, and the prawns are cooked. 

  • Remove from heat and serve hot, with steamed rice.
