Instructions :   

  • Brown chicken in hot frying pan.

  • Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour the mixture over chicken. 

  • Heat the mixture until it boils, then reduce the heat, cover, and cook over low heat until chicken is tender, about 45 minutes.

  • Onion, chopped  - 1/2 cup

  • Green pepper, chopped  - 1/2 medium

  • "No-salt-added" tomato sauce  - 2, 8-ounce cans

  • Oregano leaves  - 1/2 teaspoon

  • Basil leaves  - 1/4 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder - 1/8 teaspoon

  • Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
