Instructions :   

  • Clean the mushrooms. Detach and finely chop the stalks. 

  • Place half cup breadcrumbs, the chopped green chilli-ginger, crushed garlic, pepper, salt, spring onion greens, grated cheese, butter and chopped mushroom stalks in a bowl and mix well.

  • Place a little of the filling in a mushroom cap, and cover with another mushroom. Fix with a toothpick. Similarly prepare the rest of the mushrooms. Dip the mushrooms into the egg and roll in the rest of the breadcrumbs. 

  • Deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Remove carefully with a slotted spoon and serve hot.

  • Breadcrumbs 2 cups

  • Chopped green chilli 1 tsp and ginger

  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Spring onion greens 2 tbsp , chopped 

  • Grated cheese 1/2 cup

  • White butter 2 tbsp

  • Beaten 2 eggs

  • Toothpicks 12
