Nutritional Information:

Instructions :   

  • Scrape the surface remove the seeds and clean and cut the parwal into 2-inch long cylinders.

  • Rub a little salt on the insides and keep aside.

  • Mix together boiled potato, green chillies, garam masala power, coriander leaves, salt.

  • Stuff the snake gourd with this mixture and keep aside.

  • Heat the mustard oil in a kadai or nonstick pan and add the panch foran. When it crackles add chopped onion and saut� for 5 minutes. 

  • Add the stuffed parwal. Sprinkle little turmeric and salt, if necessary, and cover.

  • Cook till the parwal is soft and tender.

  • Serve hot.

  • Snake Gourd (parwal)- 500 gms

  • Mustard Oil -10 ml

  • Potato (Boiled) - 250 gms

  • Green Chillies (Chopped) - 5 nos.

  • Coriander Leaves - 10 gms

  • Salt To Taste

  • Garam Masala Powder - 2 gms

  • Onion - 50 gms

  • Panch Foran - 5 gms

  • Turmeric 1 gm
