Natacha Moitinho was born and raised in Portugal. She has a degree in Social and Cultural Communication and after a brief period in journalism, she decided to volunteer abroad. In 2007, she volunteered in India in the area of women\u2019s empowerment, and in 2008 trained volunteers in China. Upon her return to Portugal, Natacha earned a Master\u2019s Degree in Women\u2019s Studies and works as a trainer and auditor in social responsibility and gender equality. She also traveled to Cape Verde with the European Voluntary Service between 2011 and 2012 to perform community development work. Today Natacha lives on an organic farm in the Azores, a Portuguese archipelago.
