Adriana Marín on Motherhood, Fashion & Finding Humor in Everyday Life

Adriana Marin is a Venezuelan content creator currently living in Mexico, focused on motherhood, fashion, beauty, and real-life experiences as a mom. Through her social media platforms, she has built a strong and highly engaged community by sharing authentic content about motherhood, self-care, lifestyle, and personal growth in a relatable and empowering way.

Her content combines humor, honesty, fashion, and everyday moments, inspiring women and mothers to embrace both motherhood and their individuality with confidence and authenticity.

Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Adriana Marin an exceptionally talented and accomplished a Venezuelan content creator – featuring authentic content about motherhood, self-care, lifestyle, and personal growth. Here she talks about her personal journey, content strategy, motherhood philosophy, beauty, fitness routines, and future aspirations.

Namita Nayyar:

You’re a Venezuelan creator now living in Mexico. How has that transition influenced your identity as a woman, a mother, and a content creator?

Adriana Marin:

My migration journey had different stages. I left Venezuela, lived in Colombia, and later moved to Mexico. Each country represented a different version of me.

Colombia was a stage of adaptation — learning how to navigate life and support myself. Mexico is where I truly felt I could rebuild, find stability, and grow — both as a mother and as a content creator.

As a mom, it made me more conscious of the environment I wanted to create for my son.

Namita Nayyar:

What was the turning point that made you decide to share your life publicly?

Adriana Marin:

It wasn’t a single moment, it was a process.

I was going through very intense experiences — migrating, being separated from my son for a period of time, rebuilding my life — and I realized that sharing it could make other women feel less alone. And I understood something very important: being real connects more than being perfect.

Namita Nayyar:

You’ve built a highly engaged community by being authentic. What’s one thing you never post, and why?

Adriana Marin:

I never post anything that could make my son feel exposed or uncomfortable in the future. I share my experience as a mom, but there are things that are meant to be lived — not everything needs to be shown.

Namita Nayyar:

Many creators struggle to grow organically today. What do you think has been the key to your success on both Instagram and TikTok?

Adriana Marin:

I stopped trying to please everyone. My content doesn’t come from “what will go viral,” it comes from: “this is what many women feel, but don’t say.” When someone feels identified, they don’t just watch… they stay.

Namita Nayyar:

What’s the most difficult comment or judgment you’ve received as a mom creator, and how did you handle it?

Adriana Marin:

One of the hardest judgments has been people questioning my decisions as a mother without knowing the full context. Especially decisions that involved very deep emotional sacrifices, but that I made thinking about my son’s long-term wellbeing. I’ve learned that not everyone will understand your story — but that doesn’t make it any less valid.

Namita Nayyar:

You blend humor and honesty about motherhood. Can you share a real moment where everything went wrong?

Adriana Marin:

There was a moment that deeply marked me. My son once told me, “You left me.” Even though I knew why I had made that decision, hearing it from him broke me.

That’s when I understood that motherhood is also filled with guilt, love, and difficult decisions that no one teaches you how to handle.

Namita Nayyar:

What’s a piece of parenting advice you initially believed in but later changed?

Adriana Marin:

I used to believe that a good mother always has everything under control. Now I know that’s not entirely true.

I want my son to see that his mom also makes mistakes, learns, adapts… and sometimes simply gets through the day.

Namita Nayyar:

How do you explain to your child that you share parts of your life with thousands of people?

Adriana Marin:

I would explain it in a simple way:

“Mom made difficult decisions to build a better life for both of us, and today she shares parts of her story so other women don’t feel alone.”

And something very important: He is my life, but he is not content.
