Namita Nayyar:

You started singing at the age of twelve and spent your three years studying at the famous Swedish Pop/Rock music school named Rytmus High School. Later you started working as a model, singer, and talk show hostess with now your career is propelled to the height where you have been leading the world of fashion & glamour modeling and as a singer. Tell us more about this journey of hard work, tenacity, and endurance?

Angelica Artifex:

Thank you for your very kind words! The journey is long and I have reached great accomplishments that I’m proud of, and I’m still looking for more to come, this journey doesn’t stop here. I was very clear in my early days as a kid of what I wanted to do when I grew up, I wanted to become an entertainer. I was born and raised in Sweden, in a time where the profession as a full-time entertainer was pretty limited, probably still is today.

So I knew that I had to move from Sweden, for the sake of my own growth. After a journey of collaborations with record producers, ongoing meetings with industry people and record labels in Stockholm, and still with no luck, I knew that it was time to switch. That’s when I moved from Sweden to Italy. I think my biggest accomplishment in life so far has been following my intuition. I listed to the baby Artifex in me, and made her wishes come true.

Namita Nayyar:

After graduating, you moved to Italy as a model, working with designers such as Red Valentino, Etro, Cedric Charlier, BluMarine, Antonio Marras, and many more. Tell us more about this endeavor of yours and how it had been a catalyst to turn you such an epitome of glamour, beauty, and elegance?

Angelica Artifex:

There is beyond hard work behind the accomplishment that the audience sees from one. Fashion or any other entertainment industry is extremely tough, and therefore requires a lifetime determination. I moved to Milan and started a completely new journey with no knowledge of the fashion industry whatsoever, but to my surprise I was working. All though my look wasn’t necessary “The” look, back then when I started I had big curly hair and in Italy that wasn’t a trend, until my look became a trend and I was now being booked for how I looked and for being me.

Yes, fashion is fun and can be glamorous, my favorite part is the unlimited creativity and the constant meetings with interesting people that inspire. My time in Milan helped me to understand that modeling is not just to model, to become successful I have to take care of my own business.
