Namita Nayyar:

You are an extremely talented model. Walk us through your spectacular journey and tell us how it all began?

Bonnie Janina:

Thank you for your kind words! I started my journey very young, around 17. I always dreamed of traveling the world and I’ve always been a free spirit, so naturally I gravitated towards modeling as means to see the world. 

Namita Nayyar:

Bonnie, introduce us to a day in your life.

Bonnie Janina:

I live in sunny Miami Beach so there is no shortage of things to do here! I love to go running, boxing, biking and of course going to the beach! I have to have at least 1-2 hours of doing something active.

Namita Nayyar:

Your morning beauty ritual? Two must-do & don’ts.

Bonnie Janina:

Ahhh I love the morning rituals! I’m all about them. I wake up and light some incense and candles. I make my coffee or tea. I have to wash my face and put on on my favorite daytime products, one of them being sunscreen! Two musts are coffee and brush teeth, two don’ts are wake me up when I’m still sleeping and tell me there’s no coffee. 

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine that you may like to share? 5 butt building exercises.

Bonnie Janina:

I have to say I got into boxing last year and it really changed my body. It is so amazing to see how your body can adapt and build muscle when you pour commitment into your workout. The boxing gym I go to does amazing work outs for the butt… so many squats and weight exercises to help shape your booty! 

Namita Nayyar:

Five Ab exercises that you swear by?

Bonnie Janina:

This is a tough one because they all work very well. Crunches though have been working well for me lately I do about 200-300 of them a day. 

Namita Nayyar:

Do you take some specific diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit? Foods you love to snack on in—between meals.

Bonnie Janina:

Oh wow. I love food so much… especially sweets. So I try my best to eat a very healthy diet and treat myself in between. Like everyone always says, it’s about balance! I usually eat a lot of protein like fish and nuts. I also eat a lot of fruits and veggies. But my favorite snack right now is popcorn! 

Namita Nayyar:

You have an incredible Instagram following of 177K followers, tell us 5 tips on posting an Instagrammable picture?

Bonnie Janina:

There are so many influential Instagram members out there that I feel I’m slacking! Sometimes I need to cleanse myself from social media so I find at times I’m not so active as I should be. But when I do post I can see what my audience likes from previous pictures so I know what reaches out to them and to recreate it in different ways. Most important, post what you love or what you want to share. Stay genuine to yourself and the people that love your content will follow!

Five cheat meals you find hard to resist?

Bonnie Janina:

Basically everything that is deemed absolutely unhealthy .

Namita Nayyar:

5 preparation tips for an important photoshoot?

Bonnie Janina:

1) Sleep! I need to get at least 7 hours.

2) Hydrate, drink a lot of water so your skin is plump!

3) Skin prep! -Before bed I do a hydrating face mask and use a few serums to make sure I’m looking fresh. 

4) Work out if possible… sometimes call time is too early so I won’t be able to workout. If that’s the case I like to try to do light yoga before or at least 10-15 min of meditation. 

5) Smile.. No one likes a grumpy model! Be sweet and kind and know that you are working as a team! 

Namita Nayyar:

Your hair and skincare routine that you would like to share?

Bonnie Janina:

I have damaged my hair enough being young! I finally learned around 2 years ago to stop touching my hair. I want it to be natural! No more coloring, dyes or altering my hair! Natural is best and beautiful. I take supplements to make my hair grow and to help make it super healthy. 

I’ve always struggled with my skin since I was young. I now love my skin and I take the best care of it that I can. I do facials and peels regularly and found the right day and night serums that work for me! Finding a dermatologist that you trust is key!

Namita Nayyar:

Bonnie Janina:
