Ms. Namita Nayyar: You must have started your career being a cheerleader at a young age. Later you propelled your career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of cheerleading as you won the “Dolphin’s The 2014 MDC Showdown”. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey to the top?

Ms. Brianne: Ever since I was two years old, I have been involved with all types of dancing. I also have been a Miami Dolphins fan from a very young age. My parents always had season tickets and I would attend every game. That is where I noticed the cheerleaders and knew that was something I wanted to do. When I turned 18, I decided to try out and I made the team! It has been an amazing journey and can’t believe I am going on my fifth season, time flies! I was very honored to find out I was announced the winner of this year’s Cheerleader Showdown, it was very exciting!

Ms. Namita Nayyar: This your fifth year in the profession of cheerleading. You have been honoured to be featured as the Swimsuit Calendar Girl and is Miss April in the upcoming Dolphins Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar 2015. Tell us about your experience on making it to this honour and how do you feel about it?

Ms. Brianne: Every year we travel to the Dominican Republic to shoot our beautiful Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Calendar. It is an honor and pleasure to be featured in the calendar and I am so blessed to be given all of these amazing opportunities through the Miami Dolphins.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Cheerleading looks to be a fun loving profession. But it is known that being a cheerleader requires a lot of hard labor, discipline, practice and excellence in different dance routines to finally succeed, how do you achieve that?

Ms. Brianne: Yes professional cheerleading is a whole lot of fun! If it wasn’t, girls wouldn’t be wanting to come back every year. Cheerleading — as does any sport — requires hard work, dedication, discipline and practice. I achieve and succeed by making sure I am well prepared for practices and games by practicing all of my routines on a daily basis, by being on time and also being a team leader and role model for my teammates. I am honored to be a Captain this year!

Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?

Ms. Brianne: Dancing three times a week, sometimes four, for three hours a day is definitely a fun workout that enables me to stay in shape. I also enjoy going to the gym, running on the treadmill and working out my abs by doing different sets of crunches.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your experience of Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders 2014 Swimsuit Calendar Unveiling Fashion Show where you wore fairy wings and looked like an angel?

Ms. Brianne: The Annual Swimsuit Calendar Unveiling is one of my most favorite events of the year! It is such a fun event to attend and to be part of. I love walking down the runway especially if I am given wings to walk in..

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding cheerleading girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of cheerleading?

Ms. Brianne: One thing to always remember is to never give up. There are girls on the team now that have tried out multiple times and then came back more prepared. Remember to always smile and to just have fun!
