Namita Nayyar:

Your first-ever audition experience? Share your best ever performance as an artist appreciated by your fans.

Carolina Kopelioff:

I’ve been auditioning for a long time now, ever since I was a child! I remember going in for commercials, TV shows, film and even theatre as a young girl. Nevertheless, I can say with complete certainty that the most important audition in my life was, by far, the one for Soy Luna (a Disney Channel show that I was a part of). The audition process was long, but definitely rewarding. It entailed over ten in-person auditions; where I had to dance, sing, act and even roller skate! It was incredible, yet nerve-racking; but all in all it was beautiful. I learned so much.

After shooting the show itself, we had the chance to go on tour around the world, playing in arenas that held over 20.000 people! It was insane. There is something very special about such a loving audience all around the world in places I would’ve never imagined I’d be performing at. I’ll never forget that feeling.

Namita Nayyar:

5 factors that led you towards becoming an actor?

Carolina Kopelioff:

There was never a thread of doubt in my mind that this is was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Ever since I can remember, this has been my dream. I started with dance, acting and voice lessons when I was 7 years old, and I still take them to this day. I love it. What has always driven me is my passion; I’m a very passionate person and this is the one thing I love most, so me wanting to dedicate my life to this was always a given. I remember going to the theatre as kid and wanting to be there, standing on that stage or same thing when I went to the movies or watched TV, it was always my dream to be a part of that; performing.

Namita Nayyar:

Share the best part of your job as an actress? How do you manage your personal & professional life?

Carolina Kopelioff:

I think the best part of being an actress is having the possibility to transition and go through so many emotions that maybe one wouldn’t allow oneself’s to feel on a day to day basis. We get to explore so many emotional states, or internal universes of different characters that are so incredible to try and figure out. From traveling to different time periods, different places in the world, or becoming someone completely different it, is all a part of this.

And as for the second question, as soon as I started off in Soy Luna it was a little hard for me. It being my first job, the amount of hours that we spent on set made having a social life a little difficult. I was tired for most of the time! But I think that made me learn so much; about time and energy  management, etc. As time passed, I found a way of doing everything that made me happy. My priority was to never change my day to day life. To hangout with my friends or take my classes. When there’s a will, there’s a way.

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises are an integral part of your workout routine? Five must-do morning stretches?

Carolina Kopelioff:

During quarantine I’ve picked up yoga and I actually love it! I’ve been doing it every single morning, for at least 15 minutes. It helps me relax and stretch which is always good. I’ve also been taking functional training classes added to dance lessons as well, which make quarantine way more fun!

Namita Nayyar:

How has fitness influenced your life?

Carolina Kopelioff:

Honestly, it does play a huge part in my day to day life. I love working out. Not only is it good in the physical aspect of things, but it really does help me relax my mind as well. I’ve always been a sporty person, even as a kid. So I have it very incorporated already to my daily routine.

Namita Nayyar:

Your meal before and after a workout session? Meal at work would be?

Carolina Kopelioff:

I usually work out in the morning, so I try to have breakfast a good half and hour before that. I usually have either fruit, yogurt or some sort of cereal. And as soon as I end my workout I follow it up with protein. When I’m working, I usually stick to healthy food so I can feel good and energized during long shooting days.

Namita Nayyar:

Favorite meal of the day? What food would you call a meal of the day? Supplements you advocate.

Carolina Kopelioff:

My favorite meal of the day is, by far, breakfast! I do enjoy lunch as well but I usually need nutritional supplements given that I’m vegetarian, so breakfast it is! 🙂

Namita Nayyar:

Top three healthy snack options? One diet and health secret you would like to share?

Carolina Kopelioff:

My top three healthy snacks are definitely fruits, cereal bars and dried nuts. I believe is not about a secret when it comes to healthy eating, It´s all about eating as healthy and variety as you can. I always tried to choose more nature food instead of processed and junk food.

Namita Nayyar:

Carolina Kopelioff:

Namita Nayyar:

Athleisure wear brands that you love?

Carolina Kopelioff:

In order to train I love using sport tops and  comfortable sport tights and shoes.

Namita Nayyar:

Five acting tips for beginners?

Carolina Kopelioff:

I always say the most important thing is to take as much lessons as you can in order to get well prepared. It’s really important to be patient, trust yourself, work hard and start your own projects when you feel ready.

Namita Nayyar:

Resolutions or goals for 2020?

Carolina Kopelioff:

Well, it’s obviously a really strange year for everyone I guess.  My goals are to connect more with myself and my desires. I wish we all could go back to our regular life. I personally want to go back to work and keep on doing what I love. I would like to travel while working, to have a job experience outside my country and to find myself dealing with new challenges.

And of course: I wish everyone around the world to stay healthy!

Namita Nayyar:
