Reality TV Star Chyna Ellis Gets Candid About Her Life & Experiences

Chyna Ellis is ITV reality television personality from the hit show Love Island who appeared in series 3. She is fashion stylist from Essex and has a massive social media following.

Women Fitness’ President Namita Nayyar recently caught up with her to talk about her journey in the reality TV realm.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have become everyone’s favorite ever since you joined the 2017 season of the hit reality series Love Island and then Ibiza Weekender. Share with us your journey that you have traveled to make a mark for yourself?

Ms. Chyna Ellis:

It’s been crazy! I can’t believe how quickly time has gone.. Love Island was  an amazing opportunity and I really enjoyed being a part of the show. It was a shame I didn’t get a chance to stay longer and people get to know me but ..that’s the name of the game! After Love Island I was approached to go on Ibiza weekender and I couldn’t turn it down .. 6 weeks in the sunshine in Ibiza? Who wouldn’t.. I filmed it in September for it was about 6 weeks after Love Island..it was amazing and I met so many people doing it I’m very fortunate to been given the opportunity to be apart of both shows and I can’t wait for what’s coming next!

Share with us the lifestyle changes you had to undergo since you entered the reality TV circuit.

Ms. Chyna Ellis:

I’ve had to become more organised and make time to eat healthy and go to the gym! Working within the TV industry you go to a lot of events which means you are working all different hours, you also have to do a lot photo shoots so you want to make sure you’re looking your best so time management is key… also finding the motivation to do things can be hard when you’re working for yourself it’s easy to get lost in other things so I’ve got a weekly to do list that I stick by now!!

Provide us an insight into a day in the life of Chyna.

Ms. Chyna Ellis:

No day is the same… I’m lucky enough to have a job that allows me to be flexible with my time and meet new people all the time which is one of my favourite things to do! I’m always out socialising or I’ll be on a photo shoot, or at a PA half way across UK.. travelling takes time! I’m recently starting my new business so I’m putting a lot of effort into that as-well ! Sometimes it’s hard to manage everything on my own but I think hard work will always pay off in the end!! On my down days, I’ll try and catch up at the gym or go to my parents and have some family time!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Having an incredible figure like yours definitely requires a good workout routine. Unfold the 5 exercises that comprise your fitness regime on a busy day?

Ms. Chyna Ellis:

I’m lucky enough to have a fast metabolism but not everyone does and I’m told as you get older it starts to disappear so I’m constantly trying new things in the gym to keep me motivated, I like to do a lot of cardio & heavy weights I mainly focus on my arms and bum, lots of squats, lunges… and press ups is my thing! I Like to do circuits as-well I think it’s a fun way to exercise keeps you pumped! I also try to do a few boot camps throughout the year. I’m going to one in Spain in a few weeks actually it’s good.. keeps you motivated and you meet new like-minded people that want to stay fit & healthy.. positive vibes!

Adequate nutrition is an integral part of staying healthy. What diet do you follow to stay healthy and physically fit? Share with our viewers your favorite foods?

Ms. Chyna Ellis:

I try to keep to a healthy diet through the week.. since Love Island I have drunk so much.. way too much actually and I’ve noticed it affects my skin & weight!! I’ve started to cut out any alcohol unless it’s the weekend.. same with bad foods.. I stick to a meal prep plan by a company near me and have chicken/Vegetables or tofu & cous cous for dinner! Then I’ll have a healthy snack like a banana or avocado on toast is one of my favourites!

Being a fashion stylist, what are your 5 top picks for summer 2018?

Ms. Chyna Ellis:

I love fashion! I’m obsessed.. and I can’t lie I’ve already started building my fashion wardrobe.. I’m loving pastels, sequins, a bold statement colour dress and check/stripe prints at the moment I think they will be hot this summer!
