You were born in Palamós, Spain. Where do you have your early education? Then you took a degree in Portuguese translation and interpretation. Later you started promoting an active and healthy lifestyle on your Instagram handle @ivana.rodriguez,this later propelled your career to the height where you have been at the top as a lifestyle, fashion, and beauty influencer in your country. Tell us more about your professional journey of exceptional hard work, tenacity, and endurance.
Ivana Rodríguez:
I was born in Spain, but as a child I moved with my parents to Argentina and there is where my sister Georgina was born. We lived there for a few years and came back to Spain.
I grew up in a village in the Pyrenees called Jaca. Surrounded by mountains and dreamlike landscapes since I was a child, nowadays in order to recharge my energy I need a good shot of mountains and nature.
After living in Jaca until I was 18 years old, we moved to Madrid where I both worked in luxury fashion boutiques and started my university studies. I have a degree in Translation and Interpretation of French, although I had some subjects in Portuguese and English, two languages I liked very much as well. Now I’m a mother and I like to inspire other women on Instagram to pursue their dreams and reach their goals. It’s a platform to be in contact with very diverse people and to learn from each other. @ivana.rodriguez is a motivational account where you can find a touch of humor, fashion and beauty.

It is a dream to be featured on a Netflix reality show. You we part of the reality show “Soy Georgina”, a worldwide success and in the top 10 of the most watched non-English speaking reality shows on the platform. Tell us more about this spectacular milestone in your life and any shoot experience on this reality show that is very close to your heart and wishes to share with the audience.
Ivana Rodríguez:
We are very fortunate to have the chance of being part of a reality show with such a worldwide success. It is certain that we had a great time but there was a first moment where I had to decide if I wanted to live that exposure to the world or not, Fearing to lose the only thing that is for oneself, one’s privacy. But these are previously recorded moments, we don’t have a camera filming us the 24 hours a day. It is important to be in charge of your life and to be able to reflect on what you want.
I am happy because I believe that overall we are doing a documentary that connects with people, that is very dynamic and the feedback from the audience is great. So positive feedback that they even watch a whole season in one day and all at once. As I was saying, we feel very fortunate to always have a good response from the public. My sister is the star, we are the ones who give context to the star and to the reality show.
Namita Nayyar:
You are the leading social media personality, model, reality television star, lifestyle, fashion & beauty influencer, brand ambassador, and mother. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ivana Rodríguez:
I believe that as individuals, we are all multifaceted with several qualities, and it’s good to keep rediscovering new ones. Also something that really fulfills my heart is to be incontact with women, mothers, brave people who follows me and I inspire them, reading them encourages me not to stop being how I am and to show myself in that way insocial networks.
I consider my Instagram profile a very authentic and real profile. That’s the key to my success. At least that’s what they portray to me. So if something works, why change it? I could be a much more ‘perfect’ and ‘aesthetic’ profile but people are tired of seeing that, they want to see REAL.

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Ivana Rodríguez:
Squats are a very complete exercise that shouldn’t be missing in anyone’s routine. And also walking and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Namita Nayyar:
How do you train your abs? One secret to your toned body.
Ivana Rodríguez:
After motherhood, the abdomen gets much stretched and it takes up to a year for all organs and muscles to resettle. For this recovery it is important to do hypopressive exercises. In addition to this, I am a big fan of the isometric plank to work on the abdomen.
Namita Nayyar:
Do you take a special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ivana Rodríguez:
I followed a strict diet for 3 months and I can say that I learned a lot from it. But to be honest, I manage better with the freedom of eating what I feel, taking into account what my body needs and asks for in each moment. Listen to your body. I do treat myself a little bit as well, but I mostly try to give my body healthy foods. Little oil, plenty of vegetables and fruits, fish, meat and legumes.
Namita Nayyar:
Five foods you absolutely love and five you keep to a minimum.
Ivana Rodríguez:
The foods I like:
Lentils with baby back ribs.
Pasta with spicy oil, garlic and parmesan cheese.
Roasted chicken.
Spanish tortilla (Potato omelet).
Paella.
Foods I avoid:
-Pasta although I love it I try to always eat it whole wheat, and leave regular pasta for
occasional moments.
I also try to avoid sweets.
Alcohol.
Fried foods.
Oil in large quantities.
Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your hair care and skincare routine.
Ivana Rodríguez:
The most important thing for the skin is having a good and daily cleansing and moisturizing. The products depend on which ones work best for each individual. In my case without any oil.
I avoid burning my hair by not straightening it on a daily basis, so I only use it when I have special events. I use a moisturizing mask on the mid-lengths and ends at leasttwice a week.

I believe it is not necessary to use the most expensive creams but to be constant and maintain a good lifestyle routine. Natural masks provide many benefits to our skin and hair.

During the Covid pandemic tell us more about such a routine to remain fit in those challenging times.
Ivana Rodríguez:
During the pandemic I did core and weight training at home. I also did aerobic exercises on site
, to stimulate circulation and metabolism. Food as always, very varied and balanced.I decided not to make a single cake or pastry at home because I knew there would be no comeback if I started. I think that helped me not to gain too much weight.
You were blessed with Deva your daughter in 2021. Elaborate on the care and post-pregnancy recovery fitness routine to gain back the perfect figure.
At first after giving birth to my baby I only used to walk, after a few months I started doing weight training and abdominal exercises. Little by little. The important thing is torecover well and keep the activity increasing as we are recovering from birth.
Namita Nayyar:
You are the mother of a two-year-old child. Guide and provide insight to new mothers few tricks and how should they care for their little ones.
Ivana Rodríguez:
I am a very happy mom of my two year old daughter. As mothers, we go through a lot of different moments in our maternity. Revolutionized hormones don’t make it easy. I advise mom to be, to be armed with patience and love, to enjoy this new time that will pass very fast and won’t return. There will come better times when we as mothers will be able to be more active as an individual and at a professional level. Now the important thing is to take care and love their baby and to focus on their life as mothers.
Also to delegate to the father or grandparents. It is important as a mother to find and take some time to themselves, even if it is just for 1 hour. They need it and that should be transmitted to the family. If everyone in the family is well, the mother will be well.

You are the sister of the world’s most famous and popular socialite Georgina Rodriguez. You have a very special and adorable bond. You are both strength to each other in life ups and downs. Tell us any memorable moment you wish to share about you both with our audience.
Ivana Rodríguez:
Yes, my sister Georgina and I have been very close since we were children. We have thousands of memories together. I remember with great love one kitten we had which we loved like another sister. Some of our friends had a cat that gave birth to kittens. My sister came home with the very tiniest kitten and told us that the owners were going on vacation and they had asked her to take care of the kitten for a few days.
We were taking care of the kitten for two weeks and one day my mother asked her when the owners were coming back… Then Gio admitted to us that they had not gone on vacation and that she had taken the kitten to keep her. And since that moment, she lived with us from the age of nine years of my sister Georgina until a few years ago when she passed away. She lived more than fifteen years and with diabetes most of her life. We had to inject her with insulin every twelve hours. We took great care of her. She was one more in the house. Her name was China. As you can see my sister Georgina made a naughty thing by welcoming this kitten supposedly temporarily….
Another anecdote, not so good but still visible, is a scar she has under her eyebrow. I accidentally gave it to her when she walked past the swing where I was swinging in thepark. I was in the air, I couldn’t stop! And many more memorable moments about sisters…
