She talks about the importance of diet, meditation and exercise to make a healthy individual

Natalia Walker is a Ukrainian now living in Los Angeles US since past five years. She is a professional gymnast and can speak four languages. She enjoys playing piano. She is a certified health coach. She has always been passionate and dedicated to my fitness and healthy lifestyle. Her goal in life to help others get active and also create a lifestyle that fits their daily routine, also make them feel better and empower them. It gives her great pleasure when she is able to improve someone’s life and I see how far they can go. She has two certificates in health coaching which she has done from New York and Ukraine.

Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up Natalia Walker an exceptionally talented fitness expert. Here she talks about her fitness regime, exercise, diet and, her success story.

Namita Nayyar:

You were born in Ukraine and now living in Los Angeles. You started practicing gymnastics from five years to fifteen years of age and then switched on to playing tennis. You started going to a gym and doing fitness training under a fitness trainer. This later propelled your career to the height where you have been a leading fitness expert. Tell us more about your professional journey of exceptional hard work, tenacity, and endurance.

Natalia Walker:

After many years of competing in gymnastics and tennis, I realized that the most rewarding part of playing sports is how exceptional physical fitness has the ability to change,as how you feel about yourself and improve every aspect of your life outside the gym or sports court.

These days, I continue my healthy lifestyle and actively help others incorporate fitness into their lives too. We’re all on a shared journey to be the best version of ourselves, and it takes both the desire to be better and the focus of daily discipline to take steps towards making that happen. I’m so grateful I found my calling to help others work towards being the best version of themselves.

Namita Nayyar:

You did two certifications in health coaching from New York and Ukraine. You completed your health coaching from the New York Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Tell us how these courses helped you in becoming an expert health coach and fitness expert.

Natalia Walker:

Competing as a student athlete for more than fifteen years, I learned a lot about personal physical fitness and healthy nutrition from some of the best coaches in the world. Later, studying advanced course in the United States and abroad helped me learn even more about the human body and how to receive the best results from limited time and resources.

Namita Nayyar:

You are a leading fitness trainer, nutrition expert, and holistic health expert. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?

Natalia Walker:

Like any worthy endeavor, you have to track what you want to improve. I’m very detailed oriented and I set goals for myself, outline an action plan, and track my progress. Like everyone, though, I stumble and get off track sometimes. The key to successfully managing a holistic health plan, including fitness and nutrition is to be organized about my time and proactively decide how I’m going to plan each day in advance.

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?

Natalia Walker:

I always wake up early and the first thing I do is stretch and meditate for 20 minutes. Afterward, I work out and enjoy a balanced breakfast. Forming good habits makes a healthy routine much easier because all you have to do is follow the plan you already made.

Planning in advance is the key. Then, even if I have temptations not to get up, I think about the positive rewards of keeping my schedule and it inspires me to maintain my habits. Nothing comes easy in life all good things come hard. Consistency is the key.

Namita Nayyar:

How do you train your abs? One secret to your toned body.

Natalia Walker:

I don’t focus on creating or maintaining my abs. Instead, I focus on eating properly and maintaining a healthy gut. The secret to abs, or any significant body sculpting, is that ninety percent of the effort is in tracking positive food consumption and the remaining ten percent is the exercise itself.

Namita Nayyar:

Do you take a special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Natalia Walker:

I definitely keep a fresh, organic diet. I avoid fried food, sugary drinks, and only indulge the occasional pastry. If I could only share one habit, it would be that I eat many smaller meals throughout the day so I don’t get hungry and give in to temptation of overeating. I have always chosen healthy food so my body doesn’t start to crave for the wrong foods. If you eat garbage, then your body will crave garbage more. It’s easier to avoid it altogether from the start.

Namita Nayyar:

Five foods you absolutely love and five you keep to a minimum.

Natalia Walker:

Foods I love: avocado, salmon, arugula, olive oil, and red pepper toast. Foods I avoid or keep to a minimum: Lasagna (even though I LOVE it), fresh bread and butter, chocolate milk, red meat, and chicken tikka masala.

Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your hair care and skincare routine.

Natalia Walker:

To keep my hair shiny and healthy, I use coconut oil once a week. And for my face, I start each day with an ice cube bath to tighten the skin, and then do some facial exercises that keeps me feeling natural.

Namita Nayyar:

Five skincare myths.

Natalia Walker:

There are so many skincare myths out there I would like to remove so people don’t waste their time and money on useless items. First, expensive products don’t mean better results. There are many wonderful and affordable options available. Second, there is a product that eliminates wrinkles – eye patches. Third, wear sunscreen! Next, you can – and should – sweat out toxins from your body during your workouts. And, lastly, try and use apricot seed scrubs. They’re a game changer.

Namita Nayyar:

Five athletic leisure brands you love to wear.

Natalia Walker:

One of my favorite, relatively new, fashion trends is athletic leisurewear. These are my top five favorites in order: Elevee Custom Clothing, Bo+Tee – Oh Polly, Nike, Under Armour, and Alo Yoga.

Namita Nayyar:

Five travel destinations on your wish list.

Natalia Walker:

I love to travel, see new places, and meet new people. On my travel list: Bali, New Zealand, Japan, China, and the Maasai National Reserve in Kenya.

Namita Nayyar:

Tell us about a day in the life of Natalia Walker.

Natalia Walker:

A typical day in my life looks like this: I wake up and follow my morning routine of meditation, working out, and having breakfast. Then it’s off to work either modeling or directly coaching clients with health and fitness lessons. Between appointments, I will make sure that I eat several meals throughout the day. And, if needed, I will meal prep for several days in advance.

Then, I have some me time where I enjoy playing the piano and taking Spanish lessons. Of course, since I played for so many years, I try to sneak in several hours of tennis every week too. And, if I’m lucky, I’ll have some free time each week to spend with my closest friends.

Namita Nayyar:

You have created a unique diet that can help not only to lose weight but keep one’s body in a permanent balance with her lifestyle. Elaborate on this unique diet.

Natalia Walker:

My diet isn’t unique; but it is disciplined. I keep it as simple as possible. I don’t eat fried foods or processed seed oils. Instead

, I stick to a rotation of recipes made with fresh, organic ingredients. That said, simple is hard. Fortunately, it’s worth every effort to get into this habit because I feel stronger each and every day I stick to it.

Namita Nayyar:

Tell us more about the importance in one’s fitness regime for stretching and a clean diet?

Natalia Walker:

Stretching and a clean diet are often overlooked and replaced with more time on a treadmill. This is a big mistake. First, every session of exercise should start and end with stretching. And clean eating gives you energy and improves the results from the time you do spend working out. Ignoring these vital components of a healthy lifestyle will either cause you to injure yourself or, substantially decrease the efficiency of your workouts. It’s better to do fewer sets properly than to do more sets inefficiently.

Namita Nayyar:

What do you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and the message for its visitors?

Natalia Walker:

I love visiting womenfitness.net and reading about so many diverse and interesting topics. It’s a perfect landing page for women like me who share the same interests and values.

Namita Nayyar:

Your idea of a perfect date?

Natalia Walker:

My idea of a perfect date includes great company, a beautiful location, and definitely some light jazz and a glass of wine.

Namita Nayyar:

Today social media plays a vital role in putting your message across to your followers and fans. What is your message to the social media followers?

Natalia Walker:

Actively using social media, by leveraging this technology as a communication tool, is a wonderful way to quickly improve your life because you can learn new things, meet wonderful people, and begin to take charge of your life. As we start 2023, this is a wonderful opportunity to renew our commitment to ourselves and begin a healthier, more active lifestyle. And, of course, I’m always happy to meet and help new friends online too. I hope many people will take the opportunity to reach out and see if I can help them make the most of 2023.
