Cheryl Fernandez-Versini looks mesmerising at Cannes

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini looks mesmerising at Cannes Cheryl Fernandez-Versini wore light pink revealing gown and looked mesmerising at Cannes. The brunette beauty was at the Irrational Man premiere and won the style stakes hands down in this. Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has settled in perfectly at this year’s Cannes Film Festival – and she stole the limelight tonight in this show-stopping gown. Flaunting her cleavage in the dazzling light pink dress, Cheryl showed off her slim figure as she posed with her fellow stars in front of the cameras.

The outfit showed off her entire back and clung to her tiny frame perfectly. Chezza pinned her hair back in an elegant up-do and waved to her fans with a huge smile on her face. She joined the likes of Emma Stone and Barbara Meier at the Irrational Man premiere, and leg bombed in the thigh-split number.

The bridal-style gown even came complete with its own train – is someone trying to compete with Geri Halliwell today? Cheryl is making the most of her holiday with hubby Jean-Bernard, as the pair return to France a year after they met there. Don’t expect to see any selfies from the red carpet this year though, as festival director Thierry Fremaux has laid down the law and made his feelings known.

“You never look as ugly as you do in a selfie,” Fremaux said when explaining the “ban” to The Hollywood Reporter, calling it “ridiculous and grotesque”. “We don’t want to prohibit it, but we want to slow down the process of selfies on the steps,” he also added. We’re sure if Kim Kardashian makes an appearance the rules will somehow be bended.

The 31-year-old singer is currently at number one in the midweek UK charts with I Don’t Care and if she stays in that position at the weekend, she will become the first British female artist to have five number one solo singles. And success agrees with the starlet who is looking better than ever in a new photoshoot, showing off her slim figure in a sexy leopard-print bodysuit.

Cheryl’s previous four number one singles include Fight For This Love, Promise This, Call My Name and Crazy Stupid Love. And the popstar took to her Instagram to share the exciting news, writing: ‘WOW. So we’re no1 on the official mid week chart. do you know what that means !!!!! that means we could be making history this weekend of it stays there !!! (sic)’. Cheryl paired her slinky bodysuit with a pair of matching printed heels and dramatic dark lipstick. Another picture Cheryl showed off her taut tummy in a cropped purple sweater and white shorts.

Being on course to make history is some welcome good news for Cheryl after a tough weekend on X Factor which saw one of her acts leave. Lola Saunders, 20, was voted out of the competition following a tense sing off with Stereo Kicks. Lola chose to sing Natural Woman, and put everything into her performance while the eight-piece band took to the stage to do Less Than Perfect by Pink for the judges..

Typically sounding better together than singing solo, the group actually gave their best performance. Louis Walsh and Cheryl stuck with their own acts, while Mel B decided to send home Lola. And Simon Cowell, claiming to judge purely on the sing-off, saved Lola putting the decision to the public vote. Receiving the fewest votes, Lola was sent home. Cheryl Ann Fernandez-Versini known professionally as Cheryl, is an English recording artist, dancer, and television personality.

She rose to fame in late 2002 when she auditioned for the reality television show Popstars: The Rivals on ITV. The programme announced that Cole had won a place as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud. The group’s line-up remained the same throughout their history and during that time the group achieved a string of twenty consecutive top ten singles in the United Kingdom (including four number one singles) and six platinum albums (two of which went to number one) and earned five BRIT Award nominations from 2005 to 2010. In 2009, Girls Aloud won “Best Single” with their song “The Promise”. In early 2013, Girls Aloud announced that they had split up.

Cheryl embarked on a solo career and released her first solo studio album 3 Words (2009) through Polydor records. 3 Words saw the release of three successful singles and the lead single from the album, “Fight for This Love,” debuted at number one on the UK charts, becoming the best selling single of the year. “3 Words” and “Parachute” both peaked within the top five of the UK charts. 2010 saw the release of Cole’s second studio album Messy Little Raindrops, which produced two singles, the first being “Promise This” which went straight to number one.

Cheryl released her third solo album A Million Lights on 18 June 2012, with lead single “Call My Name” being released on 11 June 2012, the single became Cheryl’s third number one single. The lead single from her fourth studio album Only Human called “Crazy Stupid Love” peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart, becoming her fourth number one single on the chart, tying her with Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora as the third British female to achieve this feat. During her solo career, Cheryl has earned three BRIT Award nominations.

Cheryl has become a recognised and photographed style icon referred to as a fashionista by the press. She has been photographed for the covers of British Vogue Elle and Harper’s Bazaar, while becoming the new face of cosmetic company L’Oréal. Cheryl was married to England footballer Ashley Cole from July 2006 until September 2010, when she divorced him following the announcement of their separation earlier that year.

Cole became a judge on the UK version of The X Factor in 2008,becoming the winning judge twice out of the three series she judged. In 2011, Cole left the UK version of The X Factor to judge the American version. However, Cole left the show during the auditions stage, fueling rumors that she had been sacked. Cole’s net worth was estimated at £20 million in October 2014. On 10 March 2014, it was announced that Cole would return as a judge on the U.K. version of The X Factor for its eleventh series, signing a £1.5 million contract.
