“This is my exact diet, it’s what I did to lose weight. DVDs have been done and they’ve been done really well so I wanted to do something different,” she said. Although it’s a different format, it’ll only be a matter of time before Holly is accused of copying fellow Geordie slimmer’s Charlotte and Vicky Pattison who’ve both released successful DVDs.
However, she’s adamant her offering is unique and said: “I started off as the biggest girl and I was the one to actually start losing the weight first. My journey seemed to take a lot longer because I was a naturally bigger girl at the beginning.”
It’s been a hard slog but Holly hasn’t looked back since dropping four dress sizes and she’s happy to have waved goodbye to some bad eating habits. “I used to eat a hell of a lot of pasta and cheese. I’d probably have a bowl piled high of pasta and then half a block of cheese on top. That was every night then I’d have the leftovers the next day even for breakfast. I was a carb fiend to be honest,” Gaz Beadle’s co-star admitted. The commitment to the cause (and the carb ban) has paid off as Holly now boasts a 5ft 3ins, 9 stone 3lbs figure which she is happy about.
She said: “I look in the mirror now and I could put on a bikini and go on the beach now if I wanted to and I’d feel very comfortable. “I’d like to be around maybe eight and a half stone which would be perfect for my height but I’m not bothered. I’m not going to put any pressure on myself to lose any more.” Holly credits her determination to stay on the fitness wagon to joint workout sessions with good friend Charlotte who she insists hasn’t taken her weight-loss mission too far.
“Charlotte is in the gym every single day but she eats a lot of healthy food. She’s a naturally slim girl. I think it’s stupid for people to say she’s taken it too far but you can’t win,” Holly finished.

In August 2012 Hagan appeared nude in a photoshoots for OK! and Heat showcasing her 3 stone weight loss.
Holly is also infamous for her fling with former The X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza who was famously axed from the show in November 2011 for drug use, one week after the fling. The story was released in many newspapers after the pair were caught kissing after a night out. Frankie in an interview with Caroline Flack and Olly Murs on The Xtra Factor, claimed he had just “banged her” and nothing more was going to come from it. Holly’s fellow Geordie Shore cast mates hit back at the comments made by him and turned to Twitter to vent their anger.
In Summer 2014, Holly’s remix of the song “Milkshake” made it onto the tracklist of Clubland 25. Holly has an online fashion range, Yours Faithfully and a line of hair extensions.
Holly Hagan started on MTV series Geordie Shore in 2011 at the age of 18. Her opening quote on the show is “I’m fit, I’m flirty and I’ve got double F’s.”. She has starred in all ten series of the show, featuring in every episode except episode four of the first season.
