An Experience “United by Ping Pong”
NEW YORK, NY (April 3rd, 2017) – In honor of National Ping Pong Day (April 6th, 2017), SPiN, the dynamic brand of social ping pong clubs with a devoted purpose to be the most unique collision of sport, culture, and creativity, announces a momentous series of activations, programming, and giving back. The series will be rolling out on this marquee day at three of their locations: New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. SPiN, the original ping pong social club founded in New York City, is a global brand renowned for its eclectic mix of high-energy parties, street-art designed interiors, and experiential entertainment.
Ping pong pandemonium all goes down on April 6, where SPiN takes the streets of New York, Chicago and San Francisco. An impromptu ping pong show with surprise celebrity guests and ping pong pros will pop up at a secret location, revealed on SPiN’s Instagram story @wearespin. For individuals looking to go from spectator to full fledged player, SPiN ping pong pros will be providing complimentary lessons from 2-4 p.m. at the participating venues.

Additionally, SPiN’s mission to spread ping pong within the local communities is reflected in a table donation program, where inner city schools will be receiving STIGA ping pong tables to support underprivileged youth. In New York, SPiN will generously make table donations to inner-city schools in New York in partnership with AYTTO. SPiN Chicago will donate the entire venue for the afternoon to host a “ping pong field trip” for deserving, underprivileged CPS schools: Tonti Elementary School, Dulles School of Excellence, and Jacob Beidler Elementary School. Author, Musician, Fashion Icon, and TV Personality, Kelly Osborne played a fun loving ping pong match against SPiN’s Ping Pong Pro and International Table Tennis Champion, Soo Yeon Lee. The party continued when Kelly Osborne played double matches with fans and interactive games against a backdrop featuring live music and hip hop performances. In addition to the stunt, SPiN opened to the public for complimentary ping pong lessons from 2 – 4PM for attendees to perfect their skills along with enjoying signature selection of complimentary sliders and truffle fries.
