Ms. Namita Nayyar: You dedicated your earlier part of life to theater. Studied theater and drama comedy to achieve the Diploma at “La Giocosa Accademia”. And later studied with the vocal coach teacher Sabrina Germani. Your love for music reached the pinnacle of success when you joined the recording studios “Officina Musicale”. What factors you consider are responsible for your such a spectacular success?

Sara Galimberti: First and foremost, I believe that it is important to know your objectives, accept life as it unfolds each day, but never lose sight of oneself and one’s dreams and goals, always continue to evolve and study, and also to enhance knowledge especially through practical experiences and most importantly, love life, even in its most simple thing and to never lose sight of reality.

Everything is enriched by an exact dose of courage and also a healthy insanity or unconsciousness of the dreamer who lives his life with passion. An artist must learn to have a lot of patience and perseverance and accept the ups and downs of his work. Walk pass through it and live all stages of transit from one state of consciousness to another.

You also need to have an initiative and be able to push over, have an optimistic view of life that accepts and embrace even the delusions and it is important to know that all along the road.. Therefore enjoy the journey and be very disciplined at times, because the first person to believe in his own journey is his own self.

One should try to never lose touch with our inner self and soul, the cradle of emotions and be curious about the world and what is happening outside, because art is emotion and draws from our own feelings… it is a magic key to the language of creativity and expression … And then.. dream.. dare.. risk.. Even Though at times it seems impossible … but in reality everything is possible …

Of everything that I’ve written, I am aware that often I fail to put it into practice and I do not feel like I can recommend, but I know that all these elements are part of the journey of each and every one of us in our own time, sooner or later we will be able to put them into practice.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have selected a profession of being a singer, songwriter, photography, producer and editing music that requires a lot of hard labor, technical soundness and excellence in different faculties to finally succeed, how do you achieve that?

Sara Galimberti: Well I chose not to call myself a professional in all of these areas,, but definitely the field of singing is a path in which I specialized, but all the other arts, however, represent a form of expression that has stayed with me over time and I am still learning and still every now and then cultivate them more as a passion rather than a specialization … I think it’s possible to become professionals in various fields, and that the human being, the artist can express itself in many forms… but surely there will be one of those that best express his being. In every case I know many brilliant artists in parallel fields. But as for my case, the many forms of art, besides music helped me to define and enrich my career by feeding my sense of expressiveness …

Ms. Namita Nayyar: “Chiamami per Nome” has been released in December 2013 on all the digital platforms, including youtube where it gained more than 10.000 views in less than one week. Tell us something about your this professional journey in the world of music?

Sara Galimberti:
It is an infinite love … made of passion, patience, courage and dedication … but worth all the sacrifices.. “Chiamami per Nome” is a single that was launch for my, new project.. I’m getting a lot of good feedbacks from national critics and the public and I am really greatful of this.

After my participation in the Sanremo Festival in 2007, I have resurfaced to the public with new consciousness, a new identity and a new look. For me this symbolizes transformation and rebirth. “Chiamami per Nome” is a song that speaks of courage and rebirth and I am very attached to it because it reflects a really important stage of my life… and along with this single, very soon we will introduce other songs including a song entirely written and composed by me …

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You continued to exploit your artistic attitude with the study of the creative writing techniques and composing new songs. In 2010 you attended the “Institute of Photography “in Rome (ISFCI). You joined the course of photography techniques, portraits and development and photo printing with good results. Elaborate on this creative streak of yours?

Sara Galimberti: At one point in my life, I was fascinated about the world of photography. Capturing photos or images was one of my way to express my feelings and cultivate my creativity which also comes with a different sound.

I was fond of portraits and for a short period of time I worked with different national theater artists for photo books and I often go around the city looking for different faces and reportage …

Ms. Namita Nayyar: In 2012 you attended the Saint Louis College, studying song techniques with Stefania Del Prete, theory and harmony with Andrea Avena, music repertoire with Maria Grazia Fontana and keyboards with the teacher Dario Zeno. How this learning and educational background helped you in sharpening and understanding the musical and singing skills you possess today?

Sara Galimberti: Technical training was important, because it gave me the understanding of both of my limits and my ability and helped me open new channels to my creativity. I think it is important to have a solid base of training even if you got the talent, and even if you have the natural gift but in other cases we also have a lot of self-taught artists or who have not studied any kind of training. I believe, however, that training is also needed in order to break patterns and to go beyond.

By following this path, it helped me improve my voice as an instrument and open other doors to my creativity until I get to write my first self- composed song, something that I never thought of being able to do without the help of training. So for me studying, is for sure had a significant role with my career.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: In 2005, at the “Ostia Music Festival”, you gained the second place with the interpretation of the song “Via con me” of the Italian singer Paolo Conte. Tell us about this experience and endeavor of yours?

Sara Galimberti: I have a wonderful memory of this competition like all other national and local competition in which I took part. They have greatly enriched my journey.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your performance at the Vieste Film Festival on 17th July 2014?

Sara Galimberti: It was exciting to be part in such a prestigious festival ..a festival that pays homage to Italian cinema and that represent the culture in a beautiful setting like the wonderful city of Vieste and as beautiful as the whole region of Puglia.

The public and the critics have welcomed me very warmly, they showed me that they really enjoyed my presence…It was also an occasion of exchanging and sharing with many other artists who took part in the event and I am really greatful to be part of this wonderful experience …

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Who has been your inspiration and motivation that led you to your success in the world of singing and as a music performer?

Sara Galimberti: My source of inspiration is life itself.. what I live every day around me and inside me especially, everything that thrills me and that leaves me the need to express myself, and then I love to give and receive, sharing and exchanging, it may be an experience in a very simple everyday life but most important is that it all starts from the heart and nature.. In contact with nature and the goddess of water.. there should always be.. it is a neccessity.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Elaborate on your experiences of performing at the National event of “ Miss Italia” in Mola di Bari ?

Sara Galimberti: I had the honor of taking part in one of the events of Miss Italy and opening a concert of a fantastic tribute band of Pink Floyd, inside the event of the Palio of Capatosta. Both were wonderful experiences especially for the clamorous welcome and hospitality of the people of Puglia and the various organizations. As with these two events,

I also took part with the opening concert of the singer “Fiordaliso” in Rutigliano, also located in Puglia. It was very exciting to restart again, after years with live concerts, and the thing I remember the most is the joy and the warmth of the people with spontaneity and love.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit. Specially with regard to your throat?

Sara Galimberti: I have a very healthy relationship with food. I love eating and cooking. I think most of us do. I love the Mediterranean cuisine and here in Italy, certainly we have a lot of natural and healthy products. I have a healthy diet, but every now and then I also allow myself the pleasures of the Italian cuisine. I like to combine a healthy exercise and
however I try to take care of my body, that i consider as my instrument especially in circumstances where it could be exposed. I live with care and attention, but not in a rigid way.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hairs. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hairs to make them look so stunning?

Sara Galimberti: Thanks! I make use of natural treatments and masks for my hair and also trust the advice of professionals in the field. And I try to nourish and moisturize my skin with natural creams also. In general, everything is connected to a good nutrition and physical exercise that helps me to maintain a good psychophysical balance.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share?

Sara Galimberti: I love biking and I dedicate myself often for long walks. When I was 8, I started playing fencing for 11 years till I participated competitions at national and regional level in 2004. Therefore I got to experience a lot of tiring workouts and for this, it helps me until now. Today, I enjoy walking, cycling and swimming. I practiced spinning and when I get the chance I dedicate myself for basic excercises and muscle toning.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: With exceptional hard work you are credited with all your achievements. Do you believe that does the hand of Providence (Supreme Being) played a role in your success?

Sara Galimberti: I believe that each of us is here with a vocation and a mission. Achieve one’s being, to express themselves, everyone is brought to something, everyone has power in being able to do anything. And in addition to a great deal of commitment and determination I believe there is a destiny. And everything that we encounter on the road are just tests, useful obstacles on our path in reaching to express one’s being. However, I will always be grateful to life, to existence, to the Providence, as for myself in every step of my journey. I’m being thankful everyday and love as much as I can.
