Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your journey that took you to the top of the world of fitness training?

Ms. Simone De La Rue: I first realized my passion for training when I assisted an actress for a movie role. As a professional dancer for over 15 years, I was able to teach her dance techniques to fulfill her assignment and enjoyed it so much that I decided to pursue fitness. Three years later, Body by Simone includes 2 studios, a fitness guide and online videos.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: How your experience and background of two decades as a classical ballet dancer has helped you in your present profession of Fitness Trainer, Fitness Expert and Fitness Model?

Ms. Simone De La Rue: Dancers have a unique understanding of the body and its movement, which I find very beneficial as a fitness professional. Classical ballet also requires extreme discipline and dedication, which I have applied in all aspects of my life.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Share your exercise routine that you do to maintain such a bikini perfect physique?

Ms. Simone De La Rue: I make it a point to workout alongside all my clients to not only motivate and keep them accountable but also keep myself in shape. This can be anywhere between 2-5 clients a day, so I do not have the time or energy to do any workout for me specifically.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: What is your diet? Do you take a particular fixed regulated diet comprising of nutrients and vitamins to keep you in perfect health?

Ms. Simone De La Rue: I follow the paleo way of eating. I eat organic food where I can and have cut dairy and gluten out of my diet. I also try limiting my sugar and alcohol intake.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?

Ms. Simone De La Rue: I take a multivitamin and strive for at least 8 hours of sleep a night. When you are well rested, you look well rested. I also try to hydrate as much as possible throughout the day.
