Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You were born in Tacoma, Washington. You played baseball, bowling, and volleyball in your school. Later you started doing modeling and were featured in the “Teen” Great Model Search in the magazine’s October 1993 issue. You got featured on the cover of the October 1997 issue of “Playboy” and were the Playmate of the Month for the February 1999. This propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling, and have also was being featured in many Television series and films. Tell us more about this fairy tale journey?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

I was pretty surprised when my career took off. Even though I had done modeling in high school, I was kind of a tomboy and loved playing sports. I moved to LA with the anticipation of booking a few modeling jobs and going to school. I never imagined I’d have so many amazing opportunities presented to me.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

How was your experience and background of many years as a model and actress helped you in carving your present profession of being a Business Executive, Entrepreneur, and Director of Business Development for Aclipsa?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

Being a model and actress takes you all around the world. You are working with new people all time and building relationships with those who see the world differently. I gained a different perspective on life from working in other countries and learning about their cultures. When I started my vitamin company, and then become the Director of Business Development, my people skills were impeccable. I knew how to handle anyone or anything that came my way.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You are a media personality, model, actress, news anchor, business executive, entrepreneur, humanitarian and a brand ambassador. How you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

I’m a very goal oriented person and love to wear many hats. In fact, if I was involved in just one business or job, I think I’d get bored. I love being challenged, accomplishing goals, and then setting new ones. Getting my bachelors degree while working and traveling was quite challenging, but I loved it.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

I like to mix it up and not engage in just one type of workout. I do yoga and weight classes…but I also love to hike and play sports. I think its best to change up your workout regime so all your muscles get worked.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

Yes, I’m pretty disciplined and eat extremely “clean” when it comes to my eating habits. I stay away from gluten, dairy, sugar, and eat a high fat diet. My staples are organic eggs, avocados, grass-fed beef, fish, beans, veggies, and brown rice or quinoa. I not only eat this way to stay healthy and feeling good, but also to avoid my allergic sensitivities. I suffered from chronic sinus infections for many years and cutting out the major food culprits is what saved me.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

I only use natural products free of parabens, propylene glycol, dyes, or synthetic fragrances and chemicals. Our skin is our largest organ and what you put on it goes directly into your body, so its important to always look at the ingredients when buying lotions or cosmetics. I love using coconut oil on my skin or a natural moisturizer, if I can find one I approve of lol.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Elaborate about some memorable photo shoots that you still remember and have a special place in your career?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

I think my Tommy Hilfiger campaign and St. Pauli Girl shoot were my most memorable. The Tommy Hilfiger shoot was only 3 hours, which was my all time fastest shoot. The art director knew exactly what they wanted and we had efficient hair/makeup artists. The St. Pauli Girl photo shoot was exciting and creative. They designed my costume for the shoot, so I got to be apart of that process and give my input. I also had the luxury of working with a talented crew and learning about the role I was undertaking that included a nationwide 18 city tour.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Tell us about your experience of working in films “Shallow Hal,” and “Iron Man 2.”?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

All three films were great to be apart of. Shallow Hal was enjoyable because we had a ton of down time, so it was fun getting to know the cast. Jack Black and Jason Alexander were hilarious and always had me laughing. Iron Man was an epic film to be a part of. Robert Downey Jr. was incredibly nice and obviously very professional to work with. In my scene Im getting his Iron Man picture autographed and Robert gave me the photo to keep.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

How did you feel on being featured on the cover of the October, 1997 issue of “Playboy”?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

Honestly I was pretty shocked I was chosen for it since I wasn’t a centerfold at the time. In fact, I told the editor I was on the fence about posing for the magazine, so I was surprised when they still wanted me for the cover. I had just moved to LA and was starting to book modeling jobs pretty frequently. Then I moved to Paris for 3 months and my perspective had changed quite a bit while living there. Europeans laugh at how some Americans make a big deal out of nudity…so when I returned to the states I thought well…it is Playboy and it would be tasteful.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

Don’t go into the business unless you can handle it. Ask yourself if you’re a strong enough person to resist temptation and the negative aspects of the industry.I saw my fair share of girls that got into drugs and partying, and it destroyed their life and career. It was very sad.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You are a board member for the One Step Closer Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization that raises money to help those who suffer from Cerebral Palsy and various other charity foundations. These associations are dear to your heart, tell us how you have been able to achieve and quench your thirst of giving back to the society through such endeavor of your’s?

Ms. Stacy Fuson:

By far my favorite aspect of my career is being able to make a difference and give back. The One Step Closer Foundation assists families in the getting proper care and equipment to their loved ones suffering from CP and other disabilities. Jacob Zalewski, who was diagnosed at the age of 3, started the foundation 8 years ago. He is one of the most positive and inspiring people I’ve ever met. I’m very blessed to be apart of his life and the foundation.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
