Make-up
- To begin with, wash your face with a mild cleanser; as makeup should always be applied to clean skin.
- Dab a thin layer of yellow-based concealer that is a couple of shades lighter than your skin to cover dark under-eye circles.
- Dab dots of a yellow-based foundation on your forehead, chin, nose, lips and cheekbones, and underneath the eyes. Blend the foundation using a circular motion with your fingertips or a cosmetic sponge until it gradually disappears into your hairline and jaw line. Dust translucent powder over your foundation to set your makeup. If you want to pull off this look, you need a smooth and flawless complexion so your eye makeup will stand out.
- Use an eye shadow primer on your eyelid. A primer will create a smooth surface and help your eye makeup last longer.
- Apply a light-toned eye shadow from your lash line to your brow bone. White or silver eye shadow will create a strong contrast against the black eyeliner. But if you are using brown eyeliner, choose gold or light coffee eye shadow instead.
- Sweep a smoky charcoal, dark brown, or deep plum eye shadow into your eyelid crease. Sweep this dark-toned eye shadow (using horizontal movements) from the inner corner of your eyelid to the outer corner of the eye. Then remove demarcation lines by sweeping the brush from the outer corner back to the middle of the eyelid. Slightly brush the eye shadow upward over the eye. Note: The higher you go on the crease the more the eye will push back. if you just want that sexy smoky eye just blend the darkest black up to the crease and then with a Kohl Liner, line your inner and upper rim from thin to thick on to the edge of the eye.
- Use black liquid liner to draw a line from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner of your eye, close to the base of your eyelashes. Once you get to the outer corner of your eye, tilt the line up slightly and extend it out a little past the outer corner of your eye.
- Apply medium-toned eye shadow, such as steel gray, over the liquid liner to soften and smudge the line. Sweep the dark-toned eye shadow beneath your lower lid so that it extends out like the eyeliner.
- Use dark pencil eyeliner to line your waterline.
- Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. Apply two generous coats of black mascara to your eyelashes for luscious lashes.
- Apply a nude, apricot or flesh-toned lipstick with a lipstick brush. Swipe on a clear gloss over your lipstick for tantalizing lips.
- Dust bronzer on your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, and your temples. Blend the bronzer into the rest of your foundation. Brush a soft-toned rosy-pink blush onto the apples of your cheeks using short, vertical strokes. Blend the blush until it disappears into your hairline near your temples for a natural-looking flush of color.
- Wind hair round large Velcro rollers and pin in place. Spritz with hairspray,
then use your hair dryer on a hot but slow setting for about 5 minutes. Leave to cool completely and then carefully unravel. Do not brush, just use your fingers to break up the waves. This works really well if your hair has layers cut in. You should be left with volume, a slight curl at the ends and hair that begs to be played with!
Dressing Up
You can try micro-mini dress where the Cleavage dominates, or if you wish to dress like a sex kitten, find a black leotard.
