Actress & Model Tera Patrick Reveals Her Favourites Exercises & Foods!

Tera Patrick’s first memoir Sinner Takes All is an intimate peek into her early life, and life on the road where she successfully traveled to over 80 countries feature dancing, filming, and touring.

Namita Nayyar:

You are a celebrity model and actress? Do share your journey of entering the acting world at a young age of 14? What drew you towards the glamour world?

Tera Patrick:

In my memoir “Sinner Takes All” I recall my first time seeing a photo of Marylin Monroe… I was struck not just by her beauty but how men looked at her. I “wanted” that same adoration and admiration!

Namita Nayyar:

You have appeared in Playboy and Penthouse, and were selected as “Pet of the Year” runner-up. In 2003, you became the masthead publisher of Genesis. Share with our viewers your career journey? 

Tera Patrick:

Being on both covers of Playboy and Penthouse (2002) was an honor! I still maintain relationships with both companies and both were important in terms of my branding and public image. In 2006 I also became the ONLY adult actress and model to be featured on the USA edition of FHM Magazine. I released my personal memoir though Penguin Publishing (2009) which discusses my career  and personal journey during my time as an adult entertainer. I stopped performing in adult movies officially in 2008 but still own and operate my official website terapatrick.com  and my blog myteradise.com  I’ve accomplished so much in my twenty years of entertainment but I am most proud of my family and my daughter.

Namita Nayyar:

What projects are you presently working upon?

Tera Patrick:

In 2015 I made a bold leap and moved to Italy!! I LOVE living here and am in school. I also work daily on my website, I travel and tour the world as a feature dancer performing in my own stage show. I recently came back from Mexico City Comic Con as one of their guests!! 2020 will bring new conventions, and feature shows worldwide where I can meet and entertain my fans! 

Namita Nayyar:

What is your daily fitness routine? 5 exercises to build an excellent toned physique?

Tera Patrick:

Time is always a factor for me so funny you should say 5 exercises!! I LOVE yoga and I love to meditate. My favorite 5 exercises would be push-ups, Planking, squats, lunges and a good brisk walk or hike.

Namita Nayyar:

In 2008, you began hosting the Playboy TV erotic instructional show, School of Sex. What led you to take up the offer and what is the show all about? Sexual health is an essential part of fitness and how far do you rate it on the scale of 1-10?

Tera Patrick:

Being fit and healthy is a game changer for your sex life!! I mean if your’e out of breath let it be from changing positions and not because you don’t have stamina right!!! I like to do pelvic tilts because this exercise strengthens your pelvic muscles, core and tush which help you with YOUR stamina! Kegels are important too!

Namita Nayyar:

Your daily diet routine? Your 5 favourite food and your favourite meal would include?

Tera Patrick:

I eat a lot of fresh vegetables, fruit, lentils, quinoa, and fresh fish. I aim to drink about 2 liters of water per day sometimes 3 depending on how active I am. I can’t emphasize enough how important being hydrated is!  At night I make a “tonic” of hot water, a teaspoon of raw honey, cinnamon and a half a lemon squeezed in. It’s calming and a great immune booster! I also take a teaspoon of apple side vinegar in my water once or twice per week . When I feel a cold coming on I take oregano oil. Just a few drops under my tongue held boost immunity! I’m half Thai so my favorite foods to “cook” would be Thai Curries, noodle dishes and Som Tom or Raw Green Papaya salad is my favorite! Your diet is REALLY the biggest factor in not just maintaining your body weight and appearance but your internal health as well so I try to be mindful of what I eat especially when I travel because I won’t always find the time to workout with such a tight schedule!

Namita Nayyar:

With a massive fan following how do you go about handing been a multi-tasker?

Tera Patrick:

THIS is challenging! You have to prioritize because really it’s impossible to do it all. I mean maybe you CAN but I don’t believe in depleting yourself or exhausting yourself , then you might not enjoy your “rewards!! . I make and keep lists and I have a planner to actually WRITE my tasks, appointments and ideas down. I find that this keeps me focused and checking off my list makes me feel accomplished!

Fitness Regime while travelling? 

Tera Patrick:

Remember “The Chair” workout ! I can’t recall who created it but I can remember in my teens this was one of the first workouts I retained. I use the chair in my hotel room for plies, tricep dips. And so many other exercises! I also do a Pilates inspired mat workout. No matter what every morning I always stretch. Ten minutes of good stretching to open up your hips, legs, chest and focusing on your breath energizes you and keeps you flexible which will contribute to a great day!!
