Thongs: Sexy Inner Wear With A Warning

Majority of women do not pay heed to some minor details while choosing underwear. After all, it is just underwear, what can go wrong? That’s not Right! The size and material of your underwear does matter, especially when it comes down to Thongs. Extremely tight one might create a bulge around your waist, which will look awkward if you are wearing a body hugging dress. Similarly, a loose one can create impressions of the folds over your trousers.

The thong is a small triangular panty that only covers the front area and leaves the rear uncovered. It is liked for the lack of coverage and is definitely not for shy type of women. The best body type for this kind of panty is a firm, moderately sized, shapely behind. Cellulite and jiggly or droopy bottoms will be more noticeable in the thong – a reveal that is neither sexy nor becoming.  If you have decide to wear it you’ll have a period of creepy-crawly adjustment just getting used to the way these undies fit – a string between the cheeks.

The fashion industry has evolved over the years and changed the mindset of our society, followed by the female observance to avoid panty line or bumps. The 2000s saw a rise in the popularity of thongs among younger girls, with pop idols like Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.

There are three most popular types of thong that you can choose from – G-String, V-String and C-String. Just make sure you choose the ones in which you would feel comfortable.

Warning for Thong Users

Thongs have been noted by medical experts to carry a health risk. The string that fits between the butt cheeks carries bacteria from the rectal to the vaginal area and can rub and inflame the skin in the genital area. Thongs can cause vaginal infections, yeast infections, bladder infections and urinary tract infections. The reason why bacteria has a stronger ground to breed in thongs as opposed to full underwear is because most thongs are not made of breathable material, like cotton.

According to the Huffington Post, people who are predisposed to vaginal infections have an increased susceptibility to infections when wearing a thong.

They might look sexy, but when worn for long periods of time, they can even cause more dangerous health risks, such as hemorrhoids. Many gynecologist suggest to wear full cotton panties. This reduces the chances of any future complications.
