Bernadett Matassa: World Hottest IFBB PRO competitor and Fitness Model Reveals her Workout, Diet and Beauty Secrets

Bernadett Matassa was born and raised in beautiful Hungary, a country located in eastern Europe. As a little girl she was very active and often got into trouble, so her parents decided to keep her busy by enrolling her in kick-boxing, gymnastics and soccer classes. Since she was fourteen years old, her life has been centered around sports. Not only she is extremely athletic, she has also been blessed with a good singing voice and an ear for music. These gifts allowed her to travel as a musician-her instrument is the recorder-and also as a member of a chorus.

At the age of 18 she enrolled in two colleges to study both literature and music. At this time she also studied to become a fitness instructor. As a college student she became interested in power lifting and soon became the European Power Lifting Champion in her weight class.

Her experiences of traveling as a musician gave her a wanderlust so she decided to set off on the greatest adventure of her young life and move to the United States. After only a short time in the U.S. She met an amazing trainer who later became her husband. Her husband and she own Body Sculpting Personal Fitness in Ormond Beach, Florida and are the parents of a beautiful little boy.

Biggest achievement in her life was becoming an IFBB PRO competitor. It’s an honor to stand on stage with other awesome women who train hard all year round and live the fitness lifestyle like they do.

She hope that with each goal she is able to accomplish and is encouraging and inspirational to others, and she hopes that she is able to help people reach their own personal goals so that they can be happy, healthy, and fit every single day.

She is a professional athlete when she got the biggest news of her life that she was pregnant. It was like a miracle. She was happy and scared at the same time. She knew she has to be as healthy and active as she could be during pregnancy to be able to bounce back quickly into her normal lifestyle after giving birth.

Her whole life has been around health, fitness, personal training and exercising since she was 4 years old. She found a competition as a goal what was 6 weeks after her due date to keep me focused. She read a lot of different articles about safe nutrition and exercising during pregnancy making sure she gave the best to her baby.
During pregnancy she was very active and did not stop exercising until she had to give birth. Today she has a beautiful son who is very strong, healthy and athletic. She feels like the happiest fit mom on the whole World.

Bernadett Matassa is world hottest IFBB PRO competitor and is an exceptionally stunning fitness model. She is in conversation with Namita Nayyar President Women Fitness.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

At an early age you participated in kick-boxing, gymnastics and soccer classes. As a college student you became interested in powerlifting and soon became the European Power lifting Champion in your weight class.Tell us about your journey that took you to the top of the world of figure and bikini competitions?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:

I think in the bottom of my heart I always knew my life will be belonging to the fitness world. I started out very early at age of 4 taking kickboxing classes, soccer and judo as afterschool program. My parents already knew when I was a little girl that they are going to have to keep me occupied and keep me really busy because I had tons of energy!

I really enjoy all the sports listed above however I was always more of a “lonely wolf ” when it came to physical training. I think probably because kids always came and went. I was the only one Lego didn’t quit. At age of 18 I started to go to the gym and lift weights. The owner of the studio came up to me right after I joined that he thought I had a lot of potential to do power lifting competitions. One year later I won the European championship of power lifting in my weight class. I really thought that will be the sport I will be doing for a long time until I hurt my lower back lifting too heavy one day. I had to quit and shift my workouts towards more of a conditioning type of routine not as much as heavy lifting. This is a short story of how I ended up doing bodybuilding giving up power lifting.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

How your experience and background of as an accomplished athlete and sportsperson has helped you in your present profession of Fitness Trainer, Fitness Expert and Fitness Model?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:

My basic theory about training people is :

It’s not enough to have book knowledge about physical education you also have to have huge personal experience on dieting and exercising. Every single person out there is different. They need to be handled different as well. In my past I came across many trainers who puts almost all of their client through the same exact work out no matter what shape they are in , what injuries they have or what kind of health issues they might struggling with..

Getting ready for a bodybuilding show it’s always very difficult and requires a lot of discipline. I do believe that the trainer must experience this before they try to explain it to the client who doesn’t really know what to expect starting their journey in the fitness field. To be able to help them the most effective way the trainer has to understand what’s going on not only physically but also mentally as well. I believe all the struggles and hardships I had to go through to present my shape on the stage helped me a lot to be able to understand and help others with their own journey to the healthy lifestyle.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Share your exercise routine that you do to maintain such a bikini perfect physique?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:
Day 1: Shoulders / Biceps / Triceps
Day 2: Cardio
Day 3: Quads / Glutes / Hamstrings / Calves
Day 4: Cardio
Day 5: Back / Chest / Abdominal’s
Day 6: Cardio

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What is your diet? Do you take a particular fixed regulated diet comprising of nutrients and vitamins to keep you in perfect health?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:

Unfortunately my diet has to be extremely specific because I have a lot of allergies. I’m allergic to gluten lactose and artificial sweeteners… When I’m off-season I try to eat 5 to 6 meals a day about 2-3 hours apart. The morning meals include complex carbohydrates and proteins along with some fruit. In the afternoon I try to only focus on vegetables and meat maybe some nuts for snack. I drink a lot of water and take a lot of supplements to replace all the vitamins and minerals I won’t get from the foods I cannot eat

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What is your motivation to take a multi-faceted personality of a Fitness Trainer, Fitness Expert, Fitness Model, Personal Trainer, Media Personality, Nutritional Expert and an IFBB Figure Pro?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:

To me to carry-on and doing my job successfully the biggest motivation always going to be all my client who succeed. I am thrilled every time I hear someone has lost some weight , someone has been feeling better overall ,someone has improved their flexibility, or even when one of my clients said they can keep up with their kids much better day did before.

Physical health will always start with feeling good , feeling healthy and feeling energetic. That’s the fact what everyone should be focused on at the first place and the bonus is when they actually start to look better and wear better fitting clothes.

Being a fitness professional is way more than just doing the sport itself. You must be able to help others with nutrition plan , proper exercise program design individually and also must be able to motivate them mentally to stay strong.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:

I believe Fitness starts from within. To have nice skin , nice hair or nice muscle tone you must feed your body healthy and nutritious meals. However I only wish we could get all the vitamins what we need from only the food we eat. It’s just not possible. I do take a lot of supplements and vitamins to help my body with extra nutrients to stay strong and healthy looking. (Biotin, vitamin D,E,C , fish oil, omega-3 magnesium etc.)

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have done bold fitness photo shoots. What advice you wish to give to the women of today to be body confident in order to do such bold modeling?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:

When you work so hard, you diet so strict eventually you’ll get the confident what comes with all that hard work. First you walking into the gym you start working on building some muscle tone . A couple of weeks later you start to see some muscle definition what you have never seen before it will start to give you an extreme confidence to show others what you’ve been working so hard for. Once your body feels nice and tight , getting leaner you are going to want to show it off. It will be no need to hide your body any longer. You have to be proud of all that hard work and discipline

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Your biggest achievement has been on becoming an IFBB PRO competitor. Elaborate on your extreme training, hard work, tenacity and perseverance that went into on reaching this exceptional achievement of yours?

Ms. Bernadett Matassa:

Becoming an IFBB pro athlete was the biggest achievement in my fitness life. To become a fit person takes work and discipline however to become a professional athlete you must go way beyond your limitations. You have to be able to separate yourself from social events and outgoings for that few weeks while you are preparing for competitions. I don’t drink alcohol I have never had a problem with that however I do know that people like to go party they like to enjoy their life. Being a pro competitor you need to be in shape all year long because you either competing or getting ready for a photo shoot. You must dedicate your life for fitness 100% to be able to step on a professional stage and be compared to the best athletes around the world.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
