Growing from an InstaStar to a Brand Powerhouse, of being a social media megastar, glamour model, personality and actress, your journey has been nothing short of a hard work. Share with us the journey that has brought you to where you are today in the field of entertainment.

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

Coming from a small town Pennsylvania to Hollywood, growing a huge social media following in about four years has been nothing short of amazing . Sometimes I have to step back because I get overwhelmed and need to remind myself to remain calm and grounded. Each day gets more exciting and I can’t be any more grateful than I am for this opportunity. I had a plan of attack in my mind from day one and didn’t want to waste one single second once I got off the plane. I knew who I wanted to shoot with, network with, hire, come up with viral videos, establish relationships with certain media outlets, Maxim, Esquire, etc so they would continue to give me publicity and help my fan base grow. They’ve been amazing !!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You were personally handpicked by Kim and Kanye West to be in the season’s YEEZY Season 6 campaign which is currently trending all over the web! Tell us more about this experience, which would have been totally breath-taking!

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

I had actually worked with Kanye West two years ago for his coffee table book called (ZINE) short for magazine. He handpicked me for that as well and I really am proud to be part of a company that celebrated all models’ bodies and curves. I’m more on the curvy side, he also had some traditional high fashion runway model body types, as well representing all figures. That’s what I really love about Kanye, he’s not afraid to push the envelope and is constantly setting trends, so then when I got the call a couple OF months ago that he wanted to use me again for season six I was just so ecstatic, I knew I was going to be a part of something iconic.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Today, you have an incredibly enviable body which according to you is a result of Pilates with a one-on-one instructor. Unfold the exercises that comprise your fitness regime on a daily basis?

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

To be totally honest I hate working out by myself, so I always have to have either an instructor, trainer, or be there in some kind of class setting or else I’ll slack off. I try to work out three times a week and I definitely watch what I eat. I also try to cut out dairy and sugar if I’m trying to lose weight quick and I drink a lot of water every day. Dandelion tea from whole foods is great and helps with bloating!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Healthy eating and nutrition go hand in hand with exercise. According to you watching the portions can help eating fewer calories every day. And drinking water—lots and lots of water, too can help. What would be your advice to friends in order to stay healthy and physically fit? Enlist your 5 favorite cheat foods?

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

Definitely don’t stress about it too much. I think the times that I feel like I’ve been able to lose weight is when I don’t really think about it & I just live my life. I eat healthy and I’ll splurge every once in a while , but if you see it as a diet, you’re always gonna be miserable you’re always going to be fighting yourself instead of working with yourself to make you the best possible version of you . Once you see it as a lifestyle change and then just splurge every once in a while, you will be 10000x happier and more successful. You should definitely try to get out and get some exercise if you can; whether it’s walking, hiking, taking your dog for a run, etc. My top cheat foods are white lasagna, philly cheese steak, lobster ravioli with cream sauce, and tacos!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Your fashion sense and style is hard to miss, what are your 5 favorite fashion picks for the upcoming summer season?

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

For spring and summer I love all white everything I love white tops white bottoms just everything white . I love pops of neon like on my purse, heels etc., like neon orange, neon yellow, pink etc. I still love chrome nails even though they’re kind of last season. I love different color hair lately and experimenting with new beauty trends. I’ve been changing my hair color for shoots and what not- blonde, pink rainbow, I’m just all about having fun and being yourself!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

With glowing skin and beautiful hair – Share with us your skincare and hair care tips? Also, what are your favorite makeup products that you love to carry in your bag?

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

I make sure to always wash my make up off before I go to bed And I love hylaronic acid. I do exfoliate once or twice a week I always put sunscreen on. Inside my make up bag you can always find some make up forever pressed powder, Mac lip liner in whirl and some L’Oreal carbon black mascara.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You are soon jumping into the Tech World launching your all-new Tech App. Tell us more about it. Also, what are the other projects that you are working on currently?

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

My app is in the works! Its taking longer than planned because I wanted it to be perfect before we launch it. It’s going to pretty much have all my favorite things, some behind the scenes of my photo shoots and never before seen footage, some of my must-have tips and tricks for beauty, weight-loss, skincare etc. Just everything you have wanted to know about the life of Abigail!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Body Shaming has become a very common issue on social media nowadays and you might also be familiar with the “Me Too” Movement in the Modeling Industry. What is your take on it and would be your 5 best tips for a model who face such pressure?

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

I’ve always dealt with pressure from the beginning because my body is not a normal size: two body type for a model, so I’ve always been called fat or thicker told I needed to lose weight. The funny thing is about a year ago, I was dealing with a lot of stress personally and ended up losing weight – the ironic thing was I got a lot of backlash for that and everybody was like “Why did you lose weight?!!!” So that’s when I realized… no matter if I’m skinny or too “thick” at the end of the day, you just can’t make everybody happy. As long as I’m happy with myself that’s all that matters.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have a massive Instagram presence @abigailratchford with over 8.3 million followers and are regarded as “The Queen of Instagram.” How does it feel to be a role model & an inspiration in influencing the lives of so many girls and women through your presence?

Ms. Abigail Ratchford:

It’s definitely a lot of pressure to have that many eyes on me and I know that I have to watch certain things I do and say, but at the same time I think that a lot of my likability and a lot of the reason why my fans and my followers have followed my journey for so long is because they see me as relatable. They see me as this small town girl from Pennsylvania who moved to Hollywood to make it big. I’m nowhere near the level of fame and success I hope to be one day, but I’ll get there. If I gave up every time someone said I was too fat, too ugly, not good enough, etc., I’d still be back in Pennsylvania working a dead end job. I try to push people of all ages to believe in themselves, work hard, and don’t take no for an answer.
