Jesse Golden is a devoted mother, holistic health practitioner, hatha yoga teacher, author and has been modeling for over 25 years.

She grew up as a ballerina and became a National dance champion. She is also a certified yoga instructor. She is creator of The Golden Secrets which is about health, beauty, fitness, parenting, spirituality, elevating consciousness, and empowering you to find your own path to fulfillment and optimal wellness.

Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar did a candid interview with Jesse Golden leading model and a Holistic Health Practitioner where she talks about her workout, diet, hair & skin care, beauty secrets, and her success story.

Namita Nayyar:

You as a child grew up in the city of Chicago and then as a ballerina started dancing in your mother’s studio, and you danced with many prestigious dance companies including the Fort Worth ballet. Later you took to start your career in modeling and worked for many notable fashion brands, dozens of commercials, television, and film. This propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. You ventured into Game Show Modeling in Barker’s Beauty on The Price is Right during its 31st season. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?

Jesse Golden:

Haha I love that you call it a fairy tale because to me it was quite the contrary. I actually did some childhood modeling but my dance schedule was so regimen that I was burnt out and quit. Dance was the love of my life but it also took up most of my time to be a kid. Looking back though, I don’t know that I would have made it had I not had dance to transmute all the chaos on my home front. When I was 17 years young I went to Florida on Spring Break and never went back home. Out of need, I found my way back to modeling in South Beach, Miami. I have always had a love/hate relationship with modeling. I hated the game of it and superficialness but loved the freedom and money. Not until I became a Mother did I fully embrace my modeling career. I modeled my entire pregnancy and started booking jobs with my son right after. Then with the boom of yoga I was able to have another career boost. At the time there was hardly any models who were actually yoga teachers so I was able to be the face of almost every major yoga company there was at the time. I loved being able to share yoga in this way. It made modeling so much more fulfilling. At this time I was in California, where I currently live now and with that comes lots of commercial, television and movie offers. Although being an actress was never a goal of mine, I managed to book some pretty cool jobs. As a single mother, it allowed me to spend lots of quality time with my son and afford everything he needed. That was always my main motivation.

Namita Nayyar:

At 41 plus years of age, you have one of the most desirable chiseled sculpted bodies. Women of your age aspire to be just like you. Tell us the secret to this stunning personality?

Jesse Golden:

First of all, thank you so much. Growing up as a dancer, I have always been very active. Although my exercises are much more moderate these days, I remain very active through yoga, pilates and simple circuit and weight training at home. I also love taking walks on the beach and hiking with my family. I put a lot of time in to staying fit when I was younger so nowadays it’s really just about maintaining my physique.

Namita Nayyar:

You are a leading media personality, model, devoted mother, holistic health practitioner, hatha yoga teacher, author, entrepreneur, and brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?

Jesse Golden:

Simply put, I do what is right in front of me and family and health always comes first. I am very regimen when it comes to my work ethic so I carve out time to focus on my priorities for the day and accomplish what I can. Running a business and being a mother teaches you to be fluid and manage several things at once. The days that are the most productive and balanced for me are the days where I spend some quiet time before my day starts and envision exactly how I want it to go. Always leaving room for miracles and not allowing myself to be disappointed if things don’t go as planned.

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?

Jesse Golden:

As I mentioned a little bit in the prior question I love yoga, Pilates, and I still practice basic ballet barre from time to time. Lately I have been doing a lot of at -home circuit training with bands and weights. I also love walking on the beach and when I want a really great workout, I walk in the thick sand and run sprints with my husband. I also love hiking with my family, which we do at least once a week.

Namita Nayyar:

Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Jesse Golden:

I have followed many different diets over the years but always for health purposes. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when I was 29 years young and that really catapulted my desire to become a holistic health practitioner and learn more about how I could heal myself holistically through diet and other modalities. The thing is when you eat mindfully and intuitively your body and its shape reaps the rewards. Currently I don’t really have any restrictions in my diet, although I do eat mostly organic, local, in season and when I do eat meat it is pasture-raised with no antibiotics or hormones. It is important for my health to listen to my body and what it needs each day. My daily food habits are constantly evolving, depending on how my body feels, the time of year and my social environment. It is important for my health to eat foods that nurture my body but I also allow myself to eat foods that nurture my soul.

Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.

Jesse Golden:

Thank you. I use The Golden Secrets of course. I am a huge believer that nature is not only enough but ideal. The Golden Secrets is all organic formulations that have stood the test of time. My skincare routine consists of cleansing my face with The Golden Secrets Heal All Oil every night. Cleansing with oil supports the micro biome of your skin, unlike soap, which strips the skin of its natural oils. Then I mist my face with The Golden Secrets Aura Clearing Mist, which is a floral hydrosol loaded with antioxidants and vitamins that protect, strengthen and regenerate the skin cells. It also allows my face oil to better penetrate the skin. So lastly I apply The Golden Secrets Youth Beauty Face Oil, which is ten organic plant botanicals that restores the delicate balance of the skin’s natural protective barrier, stimulates cell regeneration, fades hyper-pigmentation, minimizes scars, promotes collagen, deeply hydrates, and visibly smooths fine lines and wrinkles. I usually follow with The Golden Secrets Sorceress Stone Gua Sha Beauty Tool or 24k Gold Pulse Firming Beauty Tool. For my body, I am a big advocate of body scrubbing, belly rubs, and The Golden Secrets organic body oils and Sculpting Stone Gua Sha Body Tool. For my hair, I believe less is more. I only wash 2-3x per week with natural shampoos and conditioners and only wash the scalp. This allows the natural oils of the hair to flourish and keeping it long, thick and beautiful.

You run a successful venture “The Golden Secrets”. The Golden Secrets is everything health, beauty, fitness, parenting, spirituality, elevating consciousness, and empowering you to find your own path to fulfillment and optimal wellness. Tell us more about your highly acclaimed endeavor “The Golden Secrets”.

Jesse Golden:

The Golden Secrets originally started as a blog. After months of receiving messages and emails filled with questions that I just didn’t have time to answer I created a blog to start answering some of the most common questions I was being asked. Eventually, everyone wanted to know what I was using on my skin. Little did they know I had been creating my own skincare formulations since my late teens? After years of people begging me to share my formulations, I launched The Golden Secrets skincare and wellness, which is what it is today. I also wrote a book titled, The Golden Secrets To Optimal Health- filled with all the most vital Golden Secrets that have helped me in my life. Since then, I have also written several eBooks- from simple practices to live a happy life to some of the best self-care rituals you can do right at home.

Namita Nayyar:

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?

Jesse Golden:

The modeling world has changed tremendously since I began. I used to have to fly all over the world just to go on go-sees and castings and agents had full control on choosing my portfolio (book) and how and what jobs they would push me for. Nowadays, models have much control of their own careers. You can literally create your own career via social platforms and you also have complete control over your image and how you want to be portrayed. The only advice is to always be yourself because everyone else is already taken and not until you fully embrace yourself, flaws and all, will you achieve the success you desire. Lastly your flaws are most likely your superpowers so embrace them!

Namita Nayyar:

Under “the Pledge” on your website www.thegoldensecrets.com you write “We give back 1% of our proceeds to charities that are helping to make the world a better place”. This must be dear to your heart, tell us how you have been able to achieve and quench your thirst for giving back to society through this endeavor of yours?

Jesse Golden:

I have always been a philanthropist, whether it be through giving my time or money to a great cause. Having my own company, I feel a certain responsibility to use it to help make the world a better place. Also giving back is one of my golden secrets that I share in all my books. You are really helping yourself when you help others. Furthermore, when customers come to my site and buy a product of mine, I want them to know that they are a part of something bigger, something that goes way beyond the skin. Together we are creating a world we can all be proud of.

Namita Nayyar:

You have done bold photo shoots with many fashion brands, in commercials and now on your Instagram handle @jessegolden. How you are so body confident and advice to your compatriots?

Jesse Golden:

It took me a long time to get to where I am now. It’s crazy that we are never taught self-love in school, which is the foundation for everything. Growing up as a dancer, I was always confident of my ability because I trained hard for it. When I transitioned into modeling it felt shallow that I was only being critiqued on my looks. I faked it for years because the money was good but not until after I became a mother, having gained 65 lbs. during pregnancy then got my body back even better than before, did I fully embrace myself and really have the body confidence I do now. Hard work, self-love and knowing that I am way more than my body gives me the confidence I have now.

Namita Nayyar:

You have authored the book “The Golden Secrets to Optimal Health”. Tell us more about this exceptional book of yours.
