Kim Lu World Leading Fashion And Glamour Model Reveals Her Secret To Chiseled Sculpted Body

Kim Lu is today world leading fashion and glamour model. Her home town is Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. She is of Vietnamese ethnicity. Apart from being a model she is also a nurse. She has been Miss January 2019 for Playboy Croatia and also featured in FHM.

Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar had a candid interview with Kim Lu, one of the leading Playboy glamour models to talk about her workout, diet, hair & skin care, beauty secrets and success story.

Namita Nayyar:

A healthy morning ritual that you follow?

Kim Lu:

I’m a creature of habit so I wake up, do my daily morning routine get my face on :)…take my vitamins have my breakfast then go workout and start the day.

Namita Nayyar:

What motivated you to take up modelling as a career?

Kim Lu:

I actually am a nurse and modelling has always been a hobby but became more of a career and serious the past few years. Modelling has always been my passion. I enjoy being in front of the camera, travelling and meeting new people all over the world. I’m very fortunate to continue to do what I love.

Namita Nayyar:

You are a model, mommy and nurse, which role does you think defines you the best?

Kim Lu:

They are all rewarding in its own way. I can’t say just one since all define who i am as a person. As a model I get to express myself in so many ways. It brings out that creative side in me. As a mother the nurturing side, being able to take care of someone that is your own. Teaching and growing with them. It’s the best feeling in the world. As a nurse I feel accomplished helping others who are vulnerable and in need.

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises are an integral part of your home workout routine? 5 must-do mornings stretches. How do you like to rewind in the night. 

Kim Lu:

Full body stretching is necessary to start I find it helps prep and start off your workout routine.  Abs, squats, lunges. I do a bit of bands, kettle bells and some spin if I am able to do.

My night time routine consists of boiling hot water and lemon to unwind at night. It’s good for digestion. I don’t like to eat late at night.

Namita Nayyar:

Your website says that you’re a FOODIE, which foods do you love the most?

Kim Lu:

What foods I don’t love lol. I love pretty much everything but I’m bias to Asian food 🙂

Namita Nayyar:

Your meal before and after a workout? Secret to a slim torso.

Kim Lu:

Usually something which consist of higher protein or if I’m on the go I’ll do a shake.  I think incorporating intermittent fasting to help jump start your fitness goals.

For me a proper balanced diet helped me with my abs . And working out on a regular basis. I really like to use a waist trainer also on days I feel like I need a little snatch.

Namita Nayyar:

Favorite meal of the day? What does it contain?

Kim Lu:

Definitely breakfast is a must. Usually have oatmeal with fruits and some egg whites. I have been doing that since I started my fitness lifestyle.

Namita Nayyar:

Top 3 healthy snack options? One diet secret you would like to share on Women Fitness?

Kim Lu:

Top 3 snacks: Almonds, fruits and dark chocolate well in moderation 🙂

There’s no secret. I think with hard work dedication and proper guidance we all have the ability to sculpt the body that we want. Everybody is different and you just need to figure your body out and what works best for you. Diet tip: Hydrate-add lemon/limes/mint/cucumber for flavour

Kim Lu:

Women’s fitness is about feeling great about yourself. Being active and enjoying the skin your in.

Namita Nayyar:

Share your workout for a week now during lockdown? Home tools you use

Kim Lu:

I am fortunate I have a few items to workout with; my spin bike has been a lifesaver. So I do it daily for 30 mins then I do a few circuits with my bands my kettle bell and stretching on my yoga mat.

Namita Nayyar:

Biggest fitness/weight loss myth that needs to be busted?

Kim Lu:

If you don’t eat carbs you will lose weight. You will of course lose weight but it’s not sustainable.

Namita Nayyar:

Athleisure brands that you love? What sets you apart from others?

Kim Lu:

For me I love my workout clothes I live in it on a daily. Brands such as Nike, lulu lemon and gym shark are some of my favourites.

The difference with me is I try to find items that compliment my body type. I like to show off the curves I’ve worked hard for.

Namita Nayyar:

Your favourite holiday destination?

Kim Lu:

Bora Bora will be my favourite destination when I do go lol but all joking aside I really enjoyed Vietnam where I’m from, the culture and the food are amazing.

Namita Nayyar:

Resolutions or goals for 2020?

Kim Lu:

To make more time for me…read a book and meditate to incorporate that into my daily routine.

Kim Lu:

Stay positive! Do what makes you happy and don’t let anyone dull your sparkle. There’s always going to be people who try to bring you down but always remember to “do you” and the people who care about you will have your back and support you.
