Fitness Sensation Lisa Lanceford Inspires 2 Million People (Let’s Know How?)!

Lisa Lanceford

Lisa Lanceford is a famed fitness model and online trainer from the UK. Lisa’s inspirational pictures and videos have earned her massive success in the fitness industry – she’s become a social media icon ever since opening her online profile.

However, Lisa’s life wasn’t always steered toward fitness. Growing up, her main focus was on academia and excelling in school.

It wasn’t until 2015 that she took on weight training to improve her slim figure. Within months, Lisa’s body started changing and she caught the lifting bug. Since then, she’s gone on to become a fitness star who takes her fans on her awesome journey.

Women Fitness President joins the fitness star on her successful journey in the fitness realm.

Namita Nayyar:

A healthy morning ritual that you follow? One thing you are proud of yourself about?

Lisa Lanceford:

I do a 1 hour walk every morning. It helps with my mindset for the day and I think about everything I am grateful for. It’s so calm, quiet and peaceful and it gets my mind going for the day. Always practise gratitude and always appreciate the little things in life.

🏼 it’s the little things that make a big difference

One thing you are proud of yourself about? That I have built up an incredible strong community of women from every walk of life and have been able to help thousands of women change their mindsets through fitness and training. I am just a normal girl who is actually quite reserved, so to be here today amazes me! 🙂

Namita Nayyar:

You have spoken about how weight training helped transform your body. Share more about the change?

Lisa Lanceford:

Weight training allowed me to gain healthy weight and build curves I didn’t have before. It helped me gain strength physically but more importantly mentally.

Namita Nayyar:

Share the best part of being a fitness influencer?

Lisa Lanceford:

To be able to help influence people around the world, to live a healthy lifestyle, change their mindsets and become the best versions of themselves. Watching them grow in confidence, self love and strength on their journeys is so incredibly inspiring and the most rewarding feeling ever!

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises are an integral part of your workout routine? Five must-do morning stretches?

Lisa Lanceford:

I train in a push/legs/pull/legs/ training split. Pigeon stretch, hurdler stretch, quads kneeling stretch, cat/cow pose, standing side bend.

Namita Nayyar:

Favorite meal of the day? What does it contain?

Lisa Lanceford:

I enjoy every meal I have but if I had to choose 1 it would be my dinner  – Right now it’s jerk chicken, Caribbean rice & peas, sweetcorn, cheesy coleslaw & tomatoes.

Namita Nayyar:

Top three healthy snack options? One diet/health secret you would like to share?

Lisa Lanceford:

Protein whip, homemade hummus & pita, fruit & nut with yoghurt. There is no secret! Healthy nutritious foods, exercise and being consistent is what’s going to help you lose weight or build muscle! Also don’t tell yourself it’s a diet! I dislike that word. It’s a lifestyle change with balance that is sustainable.

Namita Nayyar:

A motivational quote you stick by.

Lisa Lanceford:

Don’t just dream for success, work for it!

Namita Nayyar:

Share your workout & diet routine now during a lockdown?

Lisa Lanceford:

I don’t like to call it a diet as it’s my lifestyle and not a diet. My nutrition has stayed the same except some days I am increasing my calories as I am working out more, so I need to make sure I am fuelling my body right. I am doing LIVE instagram workouts with my followers and challenging myself with new HIIT workouts alongside weight training (working with what I have) and my morning walks.

Namita Nayyar:

Your workout without gym equipment at home would be?

Lisa Lanceford:

A HIIT workout! I am really enjoying those right now, it makes me feel amazing afterwards.

Namita Nayyar:

Social media is instrumental in today’s era. Two things you love and hate about it?

Lisa Lanceford:

I love that you can reach/connect with so many people across the world and have a positive impact in their lives without realising!
I hate that there is lots of negativity and people feel they’re able to body shame others behind a keyboard.

Namita Nayyar:

Two Biggest fitness/weight loss myth that needs to be busted?

Lisa Lanceford:

Carbs make you fat!! – They’re actually your friend ladies and not the enemy!
Weight loss diets work!  – Sure it does in the short term, but not in the long term and this is why I dislike that word and I always talk about the lifestyle change with the balance.
