Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up Marina Mamalat an exceptionally talented, international model as she highlights her unique journey of blend with modeling, business and wellness.

Namita Nayyar:

You began your modeling career at 15. Looking back, what was the biggest challenge you faced as a young model entering the international fashion scene in China and Europe?

Marina Mamalat:

The biggest challenge was learning confidence far from home. At 15, you are still discovering yourself, and suddenly you are placed in highly competitive, unfamiliar environments. Different languages, cultures, expectations — it teaches maturity very quickly. I learned to stay grounded, disciplined, and trust my intuition.

Namita Nayyar:

What moment in your 15-year career are you most proud of and why?

Marina Mamalat:

I am proud not of one single moment, but of longevity. Fifteen years in this industry means resilience, reinvention, and consistency. To still evolve, stay relevant, and continue creating after many years is something I deeply value.

Namita Nayyar:

What cultural difference between China and Europe surprised you most in fashion?

Marina Mamalat:

China impressed me with discipline, speed, and precision. Europe inspired me with artistry, individuality, and emotion. Both worlds are powerful in different ways, and I learned something valuable from each.

Namita Nayyar:

How did your work as an auditor and broker influence your mobile app development today?

Marina Mamalat:

Those experiences taught me structure, negotiation, responsibility, and strategic thinking. Modeling gave me creativity and intuition. Business gave me systems. Combining both worlds helps me build with vision and logic.

Namita Nayyar:

What is the most important lesson failure taught you?

Marina Mamalat:

Failure taught me patience. Sometimes what feels like rejection is simply redirection toward something better aligned with your future.

Namita Nayyar:

What does your weekly fitness routine look like now?

Marina Mamalat:

Usually 4–5 active days: strength training, long walks, stretching, mobility work, and yoga. I prefer consistency over extremes.

Namita Nayyar:

Strength, cardio or yoga?

Marina Mamalat:

All three. Strength for shape, cardio for energy, yoga for balance and clarity.

Namita Nayyar:

How do you make time for fitness without guilt?

Marina Mamalat:

I see movement as health, not vanity. When a mother feels strong and balanced, the whole family benefits.

Namita Nayyar:

Favorite quick-result exercise?

Marina Mamalat:

Walking uphill on an incline treadmill combined with bodyweight squats. Efficient and effective.

Namita Nayyar:

How has yoga changed your approach to stress and business decisions?

Marina Mamalat:

Yoga taught me to respond instead of react. Clear decisions are made in calm states, not emotional chaos.

Namita Nayyar:

What does a typical day of eating look like for Marina?

Marina Mamalat:

Clean and balanced: eggs or fruit in the morning, protein with vegetables during the day, lighter dinner, hydration throughout. I listen to my body more than trends.

Namita Nayyar:

Main rule for staying slim while traveling?

Marina Mamalat:

Walk everywhere possible, stay hydrated, and avoid emotional eating caused by fatigue.

Namita Nayyar:

Do you have a guilty pleasure?

Marina Mamalat:

Dark chocolate and beautiful music at night.

Namita Nayyar:

How do you recover from jet lag without caffeine or sugar?

Marina Mamalat:

Hydration, sunlight, movement, magnesium, and returning to natural sleep rhythms quickly.

Namita Nayyar:

Essential skincare step after years of studio makeup?

Marina Mamalat:

Double cleansing. Removing everything properly is non-negotiable.

Namita Nayyar:

Luxury skincare or pharmacy brands? Three travel essentials?

Marina Mamalat:

I appreciate quality, not labels. My three essentials: cleanser, SPF, and a deeply hydrating serum.
Your Secret to healthy hair after years of styling

Dream brand collaboration in 2026–2027

Namita Nayyar:

What would you tell a 16-year-old girl afraid of rejection in modeling?

Marina Mamalat:

Rejection is part of every successful story. It does not define your value — it only redirects your path.

Namita Nayyar:

What does inner harmony mean to you?

Marina Mamalat:

When your mind is peaceful, your body respected, your heart honest, and your life aligned with your values.
