2014 Suzann Pro Challenge starting line-up

– Reported, September 02 2014

LPGA-stars to play in Norway as Suzann Pro Challenge once again takes place at the Oslo Golf Club. As previous years, the tournament will raise money for the Right to Play organization.

(Oslo, Norway, September 1st 2014) Suzann Pro Challenge 2014 will be a competition between teams from USA and Europe. Natalie Gulbis, Lexi Thompson, Jessica Korda and Paula Creamer will compete for Team USA, while Sandra Gal (GER), Anna Nordqvist (SWE), Caroline Martens (NOR) and Suzann Pettersen (NOR) will represent Team Europe. The line-up makes for a spectacular golf event in Oslo on 6 September 2014.

“I know all the girls well. They are positive, outgoing and lovely girls who know what it takes to give spectators a great golf experience and raise money for the Right To Play organization” says Suzann Pettersen.

The first Suzann Pro Challenge was held in 2012 with former world number 1’s Yani Tseng, Annika Sörenstam and Lorena Ochoa as well as Suzann herself taking each other on. Last years event featured names such as fellow club mate Marita Engzelius (Symetra Tour), Ai Miyazato, Beatriz Recari, Sandra Gal, Paula Creamer and Jessica Korda in addition to Yani Tseng and Suzann Pettersen.

The tournament is a collaboration between Suzann Pettersen Management, BMW, Thon Hotels, P4, SEB, Norwegian Golf Federation and Right to Play. The event raised $120.000 in 2013.

“I feel incredibly privileged to be able to devote myself to the one thing that I enjoy the most. Unfortunately, many people are not so lucky. I therefore hope to see as many possible at Bogstad in September, both to watch the golf and to support the good work that Right to Play does all over the world,” says Pettersen.
