You are an extremely popular social media influencer with a huge following on Instagram. Walk us through your incredible journey and tell us how it all began?

Avery Marie:

I started modelling 3 years ago and grew my following on Instagram by trying to post every day.

Introduce us to a typical day in your life.

Avery Marie:

When I wake up, the first thing I do is feed and walk my dog. If I have a busy day, I’ll drop her off at day care and go about my day. I usually don’t have time for breakfast, but I have granola bars everywhere (in my purse, car, apartment) because they are my favorite on-the-go snack! Some mornings I wake up early to go to the gym or take a cycling class. When I have finished everything I needed to do for the day, I’ll pick my dog up from daycare and walk/play with her at home. After eating dinner, I study for 2-3 hours for the GRE. Once finished studying, I watch my favourite shows and go to bed.

Namita Nayyar:

You are a social media influencer, model and a scholar. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?

Avery Marie:

Time management and having a flexible schedule are necessary for me. I always carry post it notes and lists to remind me of my schedule for the day.

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine? Also, share with us your current fitness routines.

Avery Marie:

I like to use the elliptical trainer for at least 45 mins. I change the resistance throughout to make sure I’m getting the most out of my workout. I also like to take heated cycling classes and Pilates on the mat. I have been trying to incorporate more arm exercises to my work out because they are super weak!

Namita Nayyar:

Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Avery Marie:

I eat pretty healthy. I don’t like soda, fast food, or traditional snacks (chips, candy, pretzels, etc) so I don’t usually eat them. I love Asian and Mediterranean food so that makes up most of my diet. I have a huge sweet tooth for baked goods, but try to only eat them once a week.

We would love to know about your future plans about modeling, etc. What are you working on for the future?

Avery Marie:

My next goal is to be on a billboard.

Give us your Top 3 Tips to be “Insta-Famous”.

Avery Marie:
  1. Post every day and interact with your followers.
  2. Make sure your posts have variation, not the same thing over and over.
  3. Ask your followers questions.
Namita Nayyar:

What are the key points to keep in mind while shooting a video for a blog or social media (Youtube)?

Avery Marie:

Just have fun and know your angles.
