Recommended by: Huffington Post, Mac|Life, 148Apps, PopSugar, Gizmodo, The Guardian, Elite Daily and many more.

All-In-One Yoga+Meditation App has 190+ ready-made yoga videos & meditations with frequent class updates so there’s always something new! Perfect for beginners, awesome for experts! and works on Mac but also iPhone, iPad and Apple TV (Gen 4). If you don’t want to use the preset classes, you can create your own custom flow using “blocks” of poses (essentially mini-sequences) or build one pose at a time. If you choose the latter option, the app does not instruct you how to move from pose to pose. No modifications or props are mentioned either.

Simply Yoga

The Simply Yoga app is available as a free download with in-app purchases. It’s part of a series of Daily Workout apps. Given the name, it’s not surprising that it has a very simple interface. With the free version, you get access to three level-one (beginners’) sequences that clock in at 20, 40, or 60 minutes. Upgrading to the paid version gets you level-two sequences and the ability to customize your own series.

The app contains six level 1 yoga routines that step you through each pose, as well as streaming yoga classes. Each pose is demonstrated by a certified instructor, so simply choose your workout length and follow along in the comfort of your own home!

YogiFi Mat

The app: YogiFi is a smart and personalised yoga gadget and app that delivers personalised yoga programmes, instant therapy sessions anytime, anywhere. If you buy YogiFi Mat, the app will turn into a virtual yoga instructor that provides guidance and real-time feedback on each asana.

YogiFi’s smart yoga mat combined with a smartphone (iOS) app helps its users to practice yoga anytime, anywhere with real-time assistance on asanas (postures) and breathing. Users are offered personalised wellness programmes based on their goals, limitations and past history. Users can now understand the effectiveness of the yoga session with vitals data correlated from Apple Watch. YogiFi’s mission is to integrate yoga and meditation as a daily habit into everyone’s lifestyle with immersive user experiences.

Pocket Yoga

This app has a very different look from other yoga apps. Its approach is slightly different too. It is based on Gaia Flow Yoga, a Dallas, Texas-area studio with its own method and terminology. Their sequences are categorized as Ocean (cardio), Mountain (power), or Desert (flexibility). Once you pick one of these styles, you can choose 30, 45, or 60-minute class.

Includes an extensive dictionary of poses that is categorized and easily searchable. There’s no better place to go if you are having trouble with a particular pose. Each entry contains pose illustrations showing correct posture and alignment, pose description and benefits, Sanskrit translations and more. Its a fantastic app!
