New Happening

  | |

In today's fast paced world, all moms want to get back to their pre-pregnancy shape (especially, the belly)  once the baby is delivered.

Begin with a walking routine while pushing the baby stroller -- it's one of the best ways to burn more fat in less time. If you're just starting out, stick to shorter durations for the first two weeks, then gradually increase the time. To learn more, check out this week's article, Exercises to Lose Baby Weight, Fast.

Hot Fitness Tip

In general, running on a treadmill is less demanding than running on the road at the same speed. There are a couple of reasons for this, including: there's no air resistance inside and the treadmill's moving surface helps propel you forward. But if you want your treadmill runs to be as physically challenging and as intense as your road runs, there's a simple solution: Set the treadmill's incline at 1% and exercise at your usual road speed. And if you'd like to take a break from running, but would like to exercise at the same intensity, you can increase the incline up to 10% and walk briskly uphill while pumping your arms back and forth.

Words of Inspiration

Richer for it all

Some days are filled with smiles and laughter, while others are full of tears. Some days you move five steps ahead, and other days you fall back three.

When things are going great, enjoy it while it's here. If things are going not so well, you're building more appreciation and joy for when the good times come again.

If there never was any down, you could not ever come back up. If you could never, ever lose, you would not want to win. The bright and sunny days would be unbearably oppressive if the rainy days never came. When night seems at its darkest is when the dawn begins.

What a blessing it is to be alive, to experience all this and more. No matter what each moment brings, no matter how each day turns out, life is richer for it all.
