May is  Preeclampsia Awareness Month

Pre-eclampsia affects 5% to 8% of all pregnancies, or approximately 10 million women globally. Preeclampsia Awareness Month presents the perfect opportunity to offer education and events that will increase awareness of this life-threatening hypertensive disorder of pregnancy, which occurs in up to eight percent of all pregnancies.
