Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your experience of working on “Tonight Show” with Jay Leno ?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: I worked a few times on Jimmy Kimmel a few times. it was super fun and nerve racking doing a live skit. And they didn’t tell me what he was going to do or what I was going to read before hand. So it was all on a whim…. When I walked off the stage I said, did I black out because i don’t remember what I said. But I did good!!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: How did you feel on being selected by Playboy magazine’s as the Playmate of the Month for February 2010?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: It’s an honor and it was life changing. I forget sometimes what an honor it was. I need to remind myself it is very special.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modelling?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: Don’t lose your confidence, and when you stop loving it quit. This industry can drag you down a tad. Always being compared to others and told you are not good enough. But have fun with it. Enjoy every moment.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Elaborate about your endeavor of being featured in your first movie along side Vingh Rhames, Robert Patrick and Pam Grier?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: I was basically thrown into acting. its not my passion, but I had some fun with it. I went to a serious acting school for about 3 years. Worked on a few great sets and movies alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson but When I stopped loving it I quit going to auditions and moved on to other things that I enjoyed.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have done bold photo shoots with Playboy and various other magazines. How you are so body confident and advice to your compatriots?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: I have always been a very confident person, so being nude for me was easy. Our bodies are beautiful as long as you are not abusing it. I won’t be young for long so why not work what i got in a tasteful manner of course. Playboy is very classy and respected so I didn’t even question the shoots I did. Some ignorant people think it is porn, but it is far from that. It is a celebration of a women’s body and hopefully inspiring to other girls to be more free with themselves and more open.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us more about your working in “Playmates in 3D”, you being 1st Playmate Ever?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: That was a fun shoot, it was so cool watching it back. I am not sure if it ever came out. Also Kim Phillips and I got to have a pillow fight. ha ha every mans fantasy right 🙂 a first for me for sure!!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about a memorable experience you still remember about one of the photo shoot or videos that you wish to share?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: I got to do a campaign with Harley Davidson and Playboy. I got my motorcycle license and Harley also gave me a motorcycle. Riding became a huge passion of mine. Life changing for me.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?
Ms. Heather Rae Young: Any website that supports women and fitness is amazing. We all need a little extra support and push. We all fall off the wagon, get lazy at points and its nice to be able to have a site to go to for a kick in the butt.
