Alana Rene Blanchard was born on 5th March 1990, in Kauai, Hawaii, United States. She is an American professional surfer and occasional bikini model. Alana surfs on the ASP World Tour. Alana is involved in designing Rip Curl bikinis. She is best friends with fellow surfer Bethany Hamilton, and was present when Hamilton suffered the shark attack that cost her an arm. She was played by actress Lorraine Nicholson in the 2011 film Soul Surfer. Alana currently has her own show, Surfer Girl, by Network A, which follows her life in Kauai as a professional surfer and model.
She is also known as Lana. Her height: 5’8” (173 cm) and weight about 125 lbs (57 kg). Her sponsors are Rip Curl wetsuits and clothing, Reef footwear, Spy eyewear, Sticky Bumps accessories, GoPro cameras, Rockstar energy drinks and Channel Islands Surfboards.
