Savvy businesswoman and star of The Real Housewives of Cheshire Ampika Pickston first appeared on our screens in January 2015. Based in Hale, Cheshire, Ampika has a son, Jake, and a puppy named Bella whom she rescued from the animal shelter where she volunteers. Ampika, 33, runs her own lavishly decorated beauty salon and spa, Opium, catering to the rich and famous of Cheshire.
Ampika is set to launch her luxurious range of bespoke hair products, Ampika Lox. As a trained professional hair stylist, executive to hair and beauty spa Opium, and as someone who uses only the finest products in beauty, Ampika knows what her clients want and expect from a product.

Ampika Pickston is one of the stars from the ITVBe Show The Real Housewives of Cheshire. She is now in conversation with Namita Nayyar, President Women Fitness.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You grew up in Lancashire and have lived in Cheshire since you were 18 years old. You have completed your studies from Toni and Guy Academy and the Vidal Sassoon Academy. You reached the pinnacle of success by starring on the famous ITVBe Show “The Real Housewives of Cheshire”. Tell us more about this spectacular journey and how it all began?
Ms. Ampika Pickston: The real housewives of Cheshire came into my life by pure fluke. One of the casting agents for the show had my name mentioned by a mutual childhood friend over dinner. I wasn’t on any of the casting agents radars, I didn’t participate in social media, I wasn’t married to a footballer…in fact I was a divorcee!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You currently run your own lavishly decorated beauty salon and spa, Opium, catering to the rich and famous of Cheshire. Tell us more about this endeavor of yours?
Ms. Ampika Pickston: My business is my passion, having a job where you make people look and feel a million dollars is extremely rewarding.
