Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Elena Gusmeroli, a Italian fashion model, Instagram celebrity, world-leading media personality, influencer, and brand ambassador here she talks about her fitness routine, her diet, skincare, haircare, and her success story.
Tell us of your childhood, and early professional work that propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. Elaborate about your journey of hard work, tenacity, and endurance?
I was born in Morbegno, a small village in Valtellina, northern Italy, where I did my early schooling. I moved to Milan at the age of nineteen, where I studied Education for years, at Cattolica University. I also studied theatrical acting in Milan at “Teatro Attivo” and in LA, at Ivana Chubbuck Studio. I started modeling at 20 years of age and took part in different fashion shows and fashion photoshoots. The first shooting I did was in Bali, and I started to like it. I first collaborated with few brands and then it becomes my work. Later in Milan I worked as a model in the television for years, it was a fashion program going on every day on the TV. In Italy the competition is very hard, I always had a more sportive body, with muscles, and most of the brand preferred the thin one, but it’s very different from country to country. I really started to appreciate my body later when I was in Mexico and USA, first because I found love, and second because I realized the idea of beauty it’s different from country to country. I’m surrounded by peoples I love, that helps me every day to be the best version of me.
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
I work out a lot, before I do every day cardio, minimum 30 minutes before breakfast and then a lot of yoga or different exercise. Now I have become lazier, and I work out on alternative days.
Do you take a special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
I always try to eat healthy. My best friend said I eat a lot! but I think if you eat healthy you are ok, you can also eat some tiramisu and be in shape
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.
I had acne problem in the past, and I’m taking care of my skin with sun protection every time I go out also even if is there is no sun. For the hair use natural shampoo and keratin treatments any time I can. I love my life.
