Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with an exceptionally talented Kailani Craine, Australian figure skater, she is 12 times Australian national champion and 2018 Winter Olympian, here she talks about her workout, diet, beauty secrets and success story.
You are the 12X Australian National Figure Skating Champion. Walk us through your spectacular journey and share what appeals to you most about the sport?
I’m incredibly lucky to be able to do what I do, I feel like the most special thing about my sport is that it really is so athletic, but we have to make it look graceful and easy! When I started skating it really wasn’t to be competitive, it was just for fun because I enjoyed it a lot- and now here we are!
One thing led to another and I would always work on a new jump or spin and then work towards harder and harder competitions until I realised that competing at the 2018 Olympics would be my goal.
