Namita Nayyar:
How do you balance food as fuel versus food as pleasure? Non-negotiable habits?
Katherine Kelly Lang:
Food can be both joy and fuel. I refuse to villainize it. My non-negotiables are hydration, quality protein, and whole, simple ingredients. But yes—if I’m in Italy, I’m going to enjoy a little pasta. Joy is also nourishment.
Namita Nayyar:
How have your dietary needs changed from your 20s to now?
Katherine Kelly Lang:
In my 20s, I could power through anything. But later in life, you have to be smarter, not harder. I focus on anti-inflammatory foods, recovery nutrition, and consistent energy. What I eat directly supports my acting, training, producing, and creative stamina.
It’s about longevity, not vanity.
Namita Nayyar:
Your skin is radiant. What are your core skincare principles?
Katherine Kelly Lang:
Hydration is constant. And cleansing—especially after hours of studio makeup—is essential. Over time, I’ve added treatments for elasticity and brightness, but my philosophy remains simple: care for your skin like it’s a living, breathing partner on your journey.
Namita Nayyar:
You’re known for your beautiful hair… What’s your essential regimen?
Katherine Kelly Lang:
I try minimizing heat when I’m not on set. My stylists and I work with treatments that restore integrity, not just shine. Healthy hair is like healthy skin—it’s a ritual.
Namita Nayyar:
Your glam teams at Cannes achieved stunning modern looks. How do you collaborate to stay authentic?
Katherine Kelly Lang:
I approach glam as a conversation. I know who I am, and I know what feels like me—clean lines, intentional beauty, and modern elegance. But I also trust my team to push boundaries. The magic happens when authenticity meets artistry.
At Cannes, Venice, and on fashion shoots, I wanted the look to reflect my evolution: bold, refined, and empowered.

Namita Nayyar:
How do you define success and fulfillment in this expansive chapter of your life?
Katherine Kelly Lang:
Success, to me, is alignment—when your work, your health, your creativity, and your purpose all flow in the same direction.
Fulfillment is waking up excited to reinvent, to explore, to expand. It’s knowing that I’m still discovering new sides of myself. And that is the greatest privilege of all.
Namita Nayyar:
For women inspired to reinvent themselves later in life—your most important advice?
Katherine Kelly Lang:
Start. Start messy, start late, start uncertain—just start. Reinvention is not about age; it’s about curiosity. Allow yourself to be bold, to evolve, to step into rooms you once thought were closed.
Your 60s can be the most powerful decade of your life. I’m living proof that anything is possible when you choose yourself, again and again.
