Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your Top 3 Fashion Must-Haves?

Ms. Lauren Luongo: A pair of both beige and black Louboutins, a black leather jacket, black skinny jeans.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion models, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?

Ms. Lauren Luongo: It’s best if you create a modeling base the conventional way. You should pay a reputable photographer(s) to create a portfolio for you.

Make sure that you fill your portfolio with the photos of a few solid photographers who can capture an eclectic array of looks for you. You can check web sites to ascertain what the fees are. Then your modeling portfolio is created. Normally if you want to get work the traditional way you need a portfolio, a comp card, and head shots. All this has to be done professionally please do not include photos taken by friends who are aspiring photographers.  If there is a job that you wanted to go for, that’s what they would ask for. Unfortunately there’s no magic bullet. When people approach me to offer work I feel blessed. The industry is not that easy to navigate but at least get the foundation ready then you can try to proceed. I wish you the best!

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have done bold photo shoots for brands and magazines. How are you so body confident and advice to your compatriots?

Ms. Lauren Luongo: I would say that it has evolved over time. As you shoot more and more, you get de-sensitized to showing skin in a way that would normally make someone feel uncomfortable. The advice is to work hard at your craft, whatever that may be, and your familiarity and comfort will increase exponentially.
