MMA Fighter Liz McCarthy Reveals Her Fitness & Diet Secrets

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Who has been your greatest influencer and motivator in your success in the field of your career in competitive women mixed martial art fighting?

Ms. Liz McCarthy:

When I first started training I would watch videos of Megumi Fujii, and was so impressed and inspired by how dominate she was. But my Dad has probably always been my biggest fan and I always want to make him proud.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You train out of Syndicate in Las Vegas. Tell us more about your training regime?

Ms. Liz McCarthy:

I train 4-5 days a week, a combination of kickboxing, boxing, wrestling, and jiu jitsu, and spar at least 1 day a week, but when I’m in fight camp I usually spar 2 days a week I also do most of my strength & conditioning work with Dominate Your Game and my boxing coach is Clayton Hires.
