Nannette Hammond is the Human Barbie and 2018 Playboy Playmate of the Year. She is known as the “Human Barbie Doll” and has spent close to $1million on plastic surgery and everyday upkeep, to turn herself into a real-life Barbie doll. The 46-year-old Cincinnati mother of six even has a pink Barbie car to complete the look. And the car is a convertible to top it all.
She has shown the progress of becoming the “Human Barbie” on Instagram, where she’s got over 537k followers! She began when she was 21, with a breast augmentation while she was working at Hooters Restaurant. She got another breast augmentation after, taking her from a B-cup to a DD. Then, she started getting Botox injections regularly and collagen filler for her lips. She’s still getting the procedures every few months when she feels she needs them.
In her early 30s, she started getting hair extensions and eyelash extensions. She also spray tans, as she says after watching “The Doctors” and realizing the possibility of skin cancer, she stopped light tanning. She also gets manicures and pedicures, monthly. She got another breast augmentation job at 38, bringing her cup size to 28H. Her most recent surgery was for dental veneers on her teeth, costing over $50,000. “It’s worth every penny to look like this. I feel happy and secure.”
Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Nannette Hammond, Human Barbie and Playboy Model, where she talks about her cosmetic procedures, fitness routine, diet, exercise and the success story.
You grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and basically lived there your present life. Later you started working on becoming the “Human Barbie”. This propelled your Instagram sensation status to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling with impressive 500k Instagram followers. Tell us more about this journey of hard work, tenacity, and endurance?
It all started when my teenage daughter wanted an IG account. She created an account for me too. Shortly after, Playboy Magazine contacted me and asked me to do a photo shoot for Playmate of the year 2018. After the publication hit news-stands, my IG account grew like crazy! A sub culture of Barbie look a likes found me as well and they quickly became my friends.
This led to me doing a lot of global traveling, interviews, and TV and movie opportunities.
Every day, I work hard to give fans what they want – me being naturally me! Spontaneous, passionate and crazy!
You are a very grounded person as a wife and as a mother. You have a ten-bedroom and nine bathrooms house; you clean the whole house yourself. You don’t have maids. You don’t have a nanny, You have six children, make them breakfast, driving them to school, picking them up, do their homework, then cooking dinner. An absolute opposite of the hot, beautiful, glamorous persona that you have on your Instagram account. Tell us more about these two different personalities of yours?
My first priorities are my kids. I take after my Italian grandma that showed me how spoil my family with love, attention and tons of FOOD!
My side job is modeling and acting. I may be a mother of six, but, I am also a sensual, sexy woman that enjoys being free to be me. Traveling and getting naked is a liberating and powerful feeling that I thoroughly enjoy.
Who says you can’t have it all! Barbie has it all and I should too!
You are a world-leading media personality, Instagram star, model, and brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
My girlfriends with one or two kids always ask how I have the energy to manage six kids. I wake up at six a.m. and go to bed around mid-night. Planning is key. Every second of every day is mapped out well in advance. Making time for family, pampering myself, and creating content for my brand consumes each day – just the way I like it!
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
My daily exercise routine consists of cardio and squats mainly. Then I incorporate a lot of fun stuff too. I hula hoop, roller skate in my house, and I have lots of other ways to get my heart rate up!
Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
I don’t have a specific diet. I just to eat five small meals daily. My metabolism is high and I burn off calories quickly. Keeping portion sizes small helps greatly, for me.
