Ingredients
- 1 c bell peppers, chopped
- 1 1/3 c chicken broth
- 1/2 c onions, chopped
- 3 tsp chili powder
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 45 oz canned dark red kidney beans, un-draine
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 c water 7 ozs alphabet pasta, uncooked
Instructions
- In 5-quart saucepan, cook bell peppers, onions, and garlic until tender.
- Stir in beans, water, chicken broth, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat to boiling; then simmer over medium heat for ten minutes. Stir in pasta and cook until done.
