Who has been your greatest influencer and motivator in your success in the field of your career of being a fitness expert?
I have tons of motivators. My top motivator is someone who doesn’t even really exist and is a fictional character. I have always been inspired and motivated by the character Rocky Balboa. I love the idea of going the distance. Of not letting obstacles get in your way. That no matter what you can accomplish anything in life. “It’s not how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward”.
Tell us more about the “Insanity Workout”?
INSANITY was created by celebrity trainer and my best friend Shaun T. It is an overall body workout that incorporates max interval training, longer periods of work, shorter periods of rest. You use your own body as your equipment while doing athletic style drills. It is truly functional fitness at its finest.
What do you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?
To all women out there…make YOU your number one priority. You cannot be a good wife, a good mom, a good boss, a good friend if you don’t take care of you first. When you are the best possible, you are better for the world.
