Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are world leading media personality, model, DJ, record producer, lyricist and television personality. How you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Emily Scott: I really have been lucky or in the right place at the right time but also it takes work. I think if you enjoy learning new skills then you naturally have a lifestyle that is full and varied. Managing everything is a bit crazy at times but I have help from great people along the way.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Ms. Emily Scott: It always changes, I am terrible at keeping a routine but I believe in making exercise fun so I take classes like dance, hi intensity interval training, boxing and yoga. I walk a lot. Starting a day with a 30min walk makes me feel good then if I can find the time ill do a class later in the day a few times a week.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Emily Scott: For me I prefer to eat as many vegetables as I can because I just like them, and I guess that’s lucky. I really love brown rice and eat it with everything including breakfast (I have it with fresh fruit, yoghurt, seeds and honey). It’s not easy to be strict when you travel but you can make healthy choices most of the time by eating as fresh and unprocessed as possible.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Emily Scott: Thanks, I have really sensitive skin so I have to be careful. I’m using Dermalogica at the moment and it’s nice for my skin but I had a breakout recently and the doctor prescribed antibiotics which helped. I think the key to great hair is a great hairdresser!
